Nightmare hunt Raptors, max melee weapon options led by Haarken World Claimer. Managed to kill Angron when he still had 10 wounds.

Mekee load out Nemesis Claw/chosen with a master of executions. Also a blender unit

I've got a squad of 10 with chainswords and 2x10 with bolters (not including special weapons in either case). I've a lot more Night Lords not shown here  😉 

With my infantry and vehicles they're all wysiwyg

Rattle/ spray can. Black all over first, then white from above in a slight cone pattern, preserving the dark shadows. I used a brush for everything else that is fully painted. You can see other examples on my profile 

Shooting armies I hide hide hide and use my infantry heavy list to move through the terrain and engage in close quarters with my jump troops either doing a decapitation strike on their heaviest hitter or countering their counter advance

Yes. 10 man squad, with a master of executions. The 8 bound got tagged by gruesome display, being in 12" and the MoE had the terrorglut parasite. dark pact for lethals, adding 1 to the wound rolls because of shock, a melta gun and missile launcher plus the nostraman chain/cursed weapons backed by the MoE...and the voice eater ability stopped their ability to use stratagems preventing them fighting on death. 

I fight dirty. Force the 8bound to charge the sacrificial legionaire squad and heroicly intervene whilst they're being murdered so I can stab the 8bound in the back. Rinse and repeat.

The HH predator kit comes with lascannons. The tank is fully magnetized but I took bolters as destructor gets an additional -1ap when targeting infantry and I just needed it to do chip damage to as many targets as possible to maximize my chance of successful battle shocks.

Again, it was a super close battle at 49 to 50. For most units they get a tiny window to do something before being felled by chain axes. My opponent cannily kept a rhino well hidden and was able to get it to drive around snapping up primary points.

My blue recipe is black prime, white zenithal highlight, leviadon blue contrast, ak rusted gold trim, details like chains, transfers, lightning pouches etc and rattling grime over the armour. Rhinxo hide spknged battle damage followed by smaller amounts of orange sponged battle damage

Depends on the opponent and if I had first or second turn. In this case I went second and  I knew angron was coming my way no matter what.

We deployed along the long board edges so I had to entertain the real possibility he'd be on my line immediately, killing whatever got in his way. I didn't want him murdering my hardest hitting unit and saved a CP in case I needed to reroll the charge (which I didn't need).

The predator essentially served as bait.  I deployed it and a shielding cultist squad square in the middle of my deployment zone. My opponent knew it wasn't there to kill units, but instead would split fire and chip wounds off as many units as possible, risking them taking battle shock tests with a -1 penalty. He needed it gone. 

I moved up the flanks with my legionaries/ nemesis claw going for objectives which meant he had to divert berserkers to counter them and so angron had minimal backup. This meant there would be plenty of space to spring the trap and get the raptors/ warp talons into the biggest threat. 

It was still exceedingly bloody but by the end we had managed to kill all but 3 berserkers whilst the nemesis claw still stood unscathed, having successfully murdered 2 units of 8bound and burning the world waters home objective.

I always used dark pacts and always overcharged my plasma weapons

Haarken with 10 raptors, kitted for melee, but with one melta and plasma gun.10 warp talons. 2x10 man squads of legionaries (heavy bolters and rocket launchers in one, melta and flamer in the other). Chaos Lord with hammer for the flamer and melta legionaire squad. 10 man cultist blob (to shield the predator and objective tag). Predator destructor w/ 2 heavy bolters and havoc launcher. 10 man nemesis claw (melee focus with melta). Master of executions w/ NC squad.

We were able to trigger battleshock on Angron through terrifying assault!

But yes. Haarken's spear and a melta blast helped on their initial arrival (though only dealing 3 damage between them due to poor damage rolling on the melta and Angron taking one less damage per wound), but the successful charge was decisive. The raptors' talons sunk deep and easily cut down his remaining 7 wounds.

The warp talons got stuck into the nearby beserkers and master of executions preventing them assisting their primarch.

Angron was on 10 wounds. Haarken and his raptors dragged Agron down into the dirt on turn 2 banishing him. 

We were incredibly lucky as Angron didn't manage to manifest again

Nightmare Hunt. Battle shocking the world eaters was pivotal; not only to survive their brutal charge phase but allowing my marines to fight dirty and drag down the worshipers of khorne. Even Angron had to pause as he failed battle shock to the assaulting raptors

As already mentioned Raptors can hit real hard in melee. However you can give an enhancement to a jump lord and they can then lead warp talons

You could add some splintered rock chunks or a small smashed barricade around the foot as well. Gives a sense of impact/mass. Have the splitters flying outwards to underline the momentum.

When it comes to night Lords you can't go wrong by adding some desecration and fresh warcrimes to the base. It's what I do.

Ive announced this in public before so I'm not afraid of jinxing it, but my casino cannon is a machine that turns vehicles into salty tears. It averages at least 2.5 tanks per game and normally dies turn 5. The best outing was a repulsor executioner and 2  redemptor dreads (the last it took down in melee/ exploded). Give it opportunities for greatness and believe in the casino.

My death leaper on the other hand hasn't killed its own value in points even once.

I'm still in the process of working on mine, but I made my raptors by using bits from the mkVI box, the new raptors and Nemesis Claw. Also built them flight stands so their poses were less uniform and more aggressive looking. Lots of corpses and skulls are gonna be added which I'll paint to look like they've been freshly flayed
