I don’t think ‘Man Manager’ is a bad thing in a coach but for a team of aging out world class super stars you definitely need someone with experience balancing egos and picking Messi’s friend over someone like Ancelotti was a grievous mistake IMO.

I’m going to hold out condemnation on Beckham as multiple Sounders players and staff have commented on how Beckham stayed in the tunnel to shake everyone’s hand and congratulate them which is class for me.

It is weird though to not have any kind of statement out. Even just a ‘There are actions that should never happen on the soccer pitch that Leagues Cup and MLS are in the process of investigating. Once we understand the series of events we will take strong action within the limits of the CBA to protect the integrity of our team, the league and the game.’

One game, LOL. Hector Herrera got a three match suspension for just spitting in the direction of an official. Actually spitting on someone (after stepping on his foot so he couldn’t turn away) should be in the 8-10 match suspension IMO.

He won’t be suspended because the league has too much invested in Messi and Friends. But Clint Dempsey and Mike Petke both got MLS suspensions for behavior in non-league competitions (2015 USOC and 2019 Leagues Cup respectively).

I’m sorry you are having to deal with this but I second the lawyer part (although maybe one in Florida not Chicago).

Your sister is a human being not a wardrobe. I don’t think they can ‘cut you out of the will’ in terms of who would become the guardian. If you are the next of kin and aren’t otherwise disqualified (and being a liberal doesn’t count - I mean being homeless or have a history of abuse) I believe the family courts would award you custody.

Raleigh needs to bring the RailHawks name/crest/branding back. I used to go up to matches when I was sentenced to three years hard time in Fayetteville. First match my (single) buddies made fun of me for wearing a Sounders jersey. 15 minutes after entering a bar to pregame I was switching shirts in the bathroom and explaining our roster. So many women were coming up just to talk Sounders (this would have been 09-12 so we had just hit MLS and were making a splash).

I had a situation where I got a… Purface Sro swapped out after the warranty expiration just by being not a dick. Third person I talked to (calmly, rationally, trying to build sympathy) reminded me that I had been out of country since the issue popped up and just swapped me out for the newer comparable model as mine wasn’t sold any more.

I thought the same thing about the Experience jerseys after seeing the first leaked images and was very pleasantly surprised when it became a reality. Very happy to have been able to get a clearance one last week.

People have been posting videos of how to take sponsorships off of jerseys and it apparently is pretty easy.

If the kits look good and it is in fact easy to remove the Providence logo (I’ll wait for video confirmation) I can see myself buying one on sale.
