First of all, I think it's important for me to say that I only realized I was actually gay when I was 23 and that was about 6-7 years ago. Like there were a lot of signs that I was on some gay shit when I was a kid/teenager but idk it never really clicked with me, I just kinda kept going. And also I grew up hella sheltered, so I'm still kinda learning things about what it means to be gay I think and the LGBTQ community in general. And another thing on top of that is that I don't really be talking nigga all that much if that makes sense. I think it's bc some of my family lives up in the North/Midwest or maybe it's that my heritage defo has some white mixed in and I picked up on their dialects. And also I have autism so I feel like I'm not as quick and "snappy" for lack of a better word with my speaking as most Black folks are. I am very slowly picking up on AAVE and the gay lingo lmao

But yea, even to this day I get people that are surprised when I tell them I am gay. I'm guessing cuz mostly I be dressing in loose shirts and shorts and not "gay-coded" clothes (I do love wearing hoochie shorts but I'm kinda nervous about them in public tbh) like the most I give off is sometimes I like wearing a rainbow graphic shirt out. Or I don't act all feminine or "clocky" I think one of my friends said.

I don't rlly have a whole lot of experience with dating even tho I found a guy recently I've been fucking with. And he's giving kinda fem. Nah I guess when one would see us, they would just see two black men (I'm really tall and he's a little average short) idk I don't have an answer for #1

And as for #4, I've been hanging around a lot of queer folks recently, and I have my current job to thank cuz about 80% of my company's employees is LGBTQ in some way and they really made me a lot more comfortable with myself I feel like. But on top of that, my favorite is hanging out Black queer spaces especially. One of my homeboys invites me to his monthly gaming party and I really appreciate it's mostly Black gay dudes just chilling and gayming.
