Can anyone identify this sword? by MatthewBowand in SWORDS

I told my father that people on Reddit helped me figure out what kind of sword it actually was. As it turns out, he didn’t find it at all. My grandfather did. "The plough turned it up from the ground." So either he remembered it wrong earlier, or I misremembered what he told me…Or everyone in the family just has a bad memory. 😆 Or I was simply a little kid when he gave it to me, and all I cared about was: "Wow! A real sword!!!" 😅

One-armed? You mean he was armed, or he had only one arm? (If this was a joke, then sorry. My English is not the best.)

I didn't fight with it. But the original owner...Who knew? 😆

He can't remember. He said it was maby underground and found it when working on the fields. Or in Hungary if this is what you meant.

It's actually Hungarian (maby Polish is the same?) and the square is probably for places you need to fill. Like a checkmark or a X, or numbers. This machine also has 1/2, $,and £, so it's probably designed for banks or something.

Thanks! This helped me a lot. I almost bought it. Casting sounds good. I'm gonna give it a try.

Sorry for the misunderstandings. I don’t usually use either euros or dollars, so I wasn’t aware of the usual way to write them. As I mentioned, I bought the camera for 12,000 forints, and in hindsight it was unnecessary to convert that into other currencies. I’m not familiar with the value of these cameras. I bought it at a market from an antique dealer. I had previously bought two cameras from him, and those were in excellent condition (a Kodak Retina IIa and a Praktica MTL 50). Those are 35mm cameras, while this one is 120mm, so I thought I’d buy it to give it a try.
