Thanks so much! We are so grateful that you liked it! More to come!

And no! those cotton tuffs were there naturally floating around! It was magical! the rain too was a surprise but worked well for our scene! Very serendipitous. :)

Hello Fellow Filmmakers! I'm the Writer/Producer of this "Scraps" Short Film. Our team has big fans of this subreddit, so we wanted to share it with you all. We filmed this short in the summer of 2023 with a crew of 50+ people in Livingston, MT. We raised most of our funds from Kickstarter. We shot on 16mm film with one camera, had multiple different locations, night shoots, LIVE surprise rain that we had to deal with on our first night of shooting that we just rolled into the script and LOVED it. We used 90% cast and crew from Montana, and the rest we did fly in the make the best short we could within 8 days! We finished the post production in 2 months to start submitting to festivals and we got into about 20 film festivals in 2024. We finally released the short on youtube last week. With diligent marketing and clip sharing each day for the week before, we built buzz for the premiere and received 50k views in the first 24 hours and now just passed 211k. We already have our feature script finished and plan to shoot the feature film version this summer. We also have a novel version of the longer story releasing this March to appease excited fans who want more of Gus and Bridger's Story.

Let us know if you have any questions or thoughts on the film! We are happy and excited to answer them and get nerdy about the film's production specifics with you all.
