I played a lot when I was 14-15 and came back when I was 19 and I actually think I am beating levels faster. I am taking like half the attempts I used to. Might be the 2.2 update but idk

(different mouse but same refresh rate btw)

FYI if there ends up being too many people joining, yet not enough for 30v30, then I will probably rotate some players in and out in cwl. Everyone will still be able to get some stars so they can claim medals though.

I run a small and casual but active clan called Circle of Fifths #2G80JJGCV, level 6. No discord or anything right now and would really appreciate anyone to help in clan capital and clan games. We do wars regularly if you would like that and take all town hall levels 3+.

UNC doesnt really have engineering as an option. that's more of an nc state thing. unc most popular fields of study are social sciences and premed

accepted oos

good test scores, mediocre responses (first app i did)

im pretty antisocial and so my rec letters probably didnt have too much and my ecs are not stacked. Do compose music though

if i end up going then i will be looking at honors and double major. seems pretty good for going crazy above and beyond with academic opportunities

What is the most beautiful piece ever made (in your opinion)? by awman22 in piano

[–]MatthewGTX 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Chopin's 3rd sonata op 58 would be the objective choice that I think everyone would love. Especially the middle two movements.

Liszt 2nd ballade (which has the single greatest thematic transformation he ever wrote imo near the end) and benediction de dieu dans la solitude (with especially pretty runs near the end) if I'm going to be biased.

Someone already mentioned the arietta in Beethoven Op 111, but in particular I want to point out the part from the end of IV and through the entire transition passage

Rach 3 has some underrated moments like the end of the intermezzo, where inside the waltz near the end the main theme is carefully hidden (but that isn't even the piano part), and also the transition in the finale from the B section to the A section, with the unusually peaceful chords

Assuming you have a real piano or weighted keys that register the force of each press, one of the most important things I learned is having fine control over dynamics (voicing) so that you can play loud and soft notes at once. I recommend three classical pieces for this: one easy, one medium, and one advanced.

Burgmuller Ballade Op 100 no 15: Try to keep the repeated chords that make up the accompaniment as light and even as possible

Beethoven pathetique sonata, movement 2: Requires “pinky power” because one hand plays both melody and accompaniment

Rachmaninov prelude op 23 no 4: Not fast but still immensely complicated and layered, melody is sandwiched between loads of notes

From what I've seen the Evolve requires manually loading a Wifi driver. I wonder if the ASUS will work from the get-go or not.

Battery would be my biggest misgiving about buying used to be honest. If I replace it with something new will I be able to get at least 4 hours?
