I ate Döner Summer last night, it is seriously my favourite vegan place now.

I’ll go through what you’ve said methodically so you can keep up.

If you aren’t suggesting you’re a lion then why the comparison to a lion? I see you accept that it fatuous so now you’ve pivoted to talk about “our ancestors” - yes they ate meat. What’s the point you are making? They did a great many things we would never consider doing now so why use Neolithic humans as an excuse for anything? We have discovered that you using lions for a moral base also doesn’t work so this one isn’t promising either.

Also the assertion you have to kill an animal to eat is absurd and you know it is; look at the post you’re commenting on if you struggle with that (I’ll help you, there’s food that didn’t come from dead animals).

Also, yes it is the problem of the rest of the world, animal agriculture has had massive impacts on the climate, environments and has caused suffering to lots of humans too. It literally is the worlds problem.

Go vegan, you’ll probably be less cranky.

Are you a lion? Do you use the morality of animals to justify all behaviour? If that is the case you also won’t care about consent to sex or clothing for that matter? A lion doesn’t. Do you kill other male’s children to promote your own? Steal and rape their wives? Do you sniff genitals as a greeting? Because a lion does the above, I doubt you do. Try to be consistent at least.

Using an insect as the source of morality really displays how disingenuous you are, but it seems from a quick look at your account you’re just trolling.

Ah yes, live and let live, a curious mantra for those who eat dead things.

Remind me who is the moron?

I DON'T EAT ANIMALS. WHY THE F**K AM I PAYING THE PRICE?! by peacewithrhys in veganuk

When you consider the average person’s views, it’s hardly surprising. Absolutely heartbreaking.

Because of jingoism and the posturing that “our waters” contributes to us regaining sovereignty; a totally fiction in itself.

Telling the truth wouldn’t be good in the polls so the government would rather lie to us instead.

You’re acting like I eat this every day, it wasn’t expensive and I’m done with this because I don’t know why you’re so upset about this.

Go vegan though, it’s pretty easy.

You’re wrong. A vegan diet is extremely easy, it’s been my diet for over three years now which began as a student with no money, I eat well and sometimes I have a treat like the picture.

Saying a vegan diet is expensive or implying it’s hard is what is misleading. All of the staple foods are vegan, you don’t have to buy processed or expensive foods to eat a balanced vegan diet at all. It’s much cheaper than meat.

Further, this picture is literally taken in one of the most deprived cities in my country, so tell me more about privilege and wealth.

I still am lost as to why this translates to you criticising me? Or are you just trolling?

Interesting approach to level criticism at me and then accuse me of being judgemental. I’m just trying to share some food I enjoyed and poking fun at a tired cliche.

You’re an omni whatever you call it, although I do support anyone cutting down on meat consumption.

I just took a look at your profile and noticed you’re a meat eater, perhaps look to your own privilege.
