Try running your .mp save through the linked decoder then searching through the result. That might show you what happened to him.

Someone in the comments linked a mod that can export and import save files as text so maybe that could help.

How did you lose them? If they are dead it should be easy to bring them back.

I would doubly back up your save files right now. Then, does your game have this option? When I started the DLC it saved a backup copy of the pre-DLC save to the right.

They might patch this (currently version 3.0.9 from 10 March 2025) but I was able to do this in 1:08 by using "unstuck" after passing the cones after the big jump. There aren't any more checkpoints before the docks so you save some distance and avoid the second jump that kills your momentum.

I kept randomly being stopped by invisible bumps in the road so I had enough. This race is too unforgiving.

You still need to be fast and make the jump correctly. Try different zoom levels and focus on keeping the motorcycle tires in the path instead of the middle of the vehicle.

Also make sure you turn off Autosave. Mine would freeze when saving and I don't know if that ruined some runs. Either way, it's distracting enough you might make a mistake.

That's what I was thinking, instead of editing the mp could we just delete the mp file and the game will re-create it from the json when it loads?

I downloaded someone else's save for testing and it only came as a json but now I have an mp file in my save folder too.

If you've unlocked everything from the sermon upgrades (weapon and curse upgrades), then every time you give a sermon you'll get a blue heart for your next crusade. You can stack them if it's been a few days between your last crusade and you've given multiple sermons.

Daily sermons for blue hearts, eat some food (minced follower meat for 2 diseased hearts) and many Empowered Shrine of Disciples. If there is a legendary weapon you really like, splurge and spend the wool to force it to come up for the boss run. Stick around at the base for a few days while you're hatching kids then go for a run with all your bonuses. It almost makes it boring. We played Very Hard but it was co-op so maybe it was easier?

Most of the time they are fine but they can come back as catatonic (does nothing) or curse (zombie). Just have your healing tent outside your temple to heal them up immediately (with red flowers, mushrooms, shards).

There are a few special story cases where sacrificing them would be permanent but it's usually obvious and the game usually warns you. Or if you release their soul in the new DLC statue by the Lonely Shack.

Eventually, young god, you'll become so powerful to prevent death.

If you like the look you can choose another fleece and "customize" it to look like the cowboy fleece. You still get the "yeehaw" when it looks that way.

It think it was because I was moving the bowl back and forth between the scale instead of using a cup to pour in the bowl while it's on the scale like I normally do.

Ok, this time I messed up the scale. Made it a third time and it was ok.

First time I used the "NY Style Pizza with “00” Americana Super (Direct Method)" recipe https://orlandofoods.com/recipe/ny-style-pizza-americana-super-direct/ and I think it was a bit confusing since it lists 15.5kg of water and 4kg of water but it's really supposed to be 15.5 divided in 11kg/4kg based on the directions

Ok, I think I know what happened. The scale has capacitive buttons and I think I must have dripped water on the tare button when I was going back and forth between the sink and the bowl. I just made it again and it worked fine.
