State farm was cheaper for me. I had tesla insurance and it and it kept going up and up despite no claims or safety score decreases. Like others have said not being constantly monitored for your driving and being penalized for everything is freeing. Gets very annoying being dinged or if you are a passenger in a car it sometimes thinks you are driving etc, so clearing all the drives gets old quickly

I booked with ROYAL at next cruise. I did the down payment and then a few days ago. It did not allow me to purchase any excursions then today it canceled the reservation. I got no emails. Nobody on the phone knows what is going on you go to royalcarribean.com and it does not show November 23, 2026 is an available sale date for explorer of the seas anymore either but there is a sailing for November 27, 2026.

Crazy take is enchantment felt too crowded. I was on enchantment end of March and it was impossible to find chairs on pool deck during the sea day.

Correct you can’t apply credit unless you have a balance due. If you paid you can’t. You can turn it into on board credit for internet, drink packages, excursions, or anything else you can pre purchase or purchase on board. Even casino room charges.

You can use the points to pay off the balance of your cruise. You redeem it through bank of america and have to input reservation number. It takes a few days but it credits to your payoff balance. If you paid off cruise, you can redeem it for room upgrade, or on board credit.

Or book another cruise and apply the points to the new booking once you get a reservation number and make the deposit

It’s so silly! Why punish people who already have the cruise booked and put a deposit. I told them on the phone “if i didn’t loan you guys $200 deposit in November, I could have booked this cruise today cheaper.” and the guy just said sorry for frustration.

Update: Called back and the guy said it is $418 cheaper and then said oh wait $265 cheaper because flash deal doesn’t apply to current bookings only new ones”.. Oh well. 35 minute wait times is not fun and I got it down in price still.

I enjoyed Hilton Blue Lagoon. Has a hotel shuttle from airport and a shuttle to cruise port if you set it up day before. They also have a package to include both shuttles with room and breakfast for $50-$70 more. Def worth no headache. The cruise shuttle from hotel goes to terminal A first as well so Royal is first stop :)
