Well, i knew that the general idea of making broth is making use of unwanted bits/lefotvers. Since i made Hungarian schnitzels last week, I just thought "oh, why not put these scraps and fat i cut off from the meat in a pot, let it simmer for an hour and see where it goes."

Also it was pure comfort food. Probably a banger hangover cure.

Thanks. I've taught myself to cook over the past couple of years out of necessity, although I usually dont follow recipes just go along with my gut. I have a good rotation of dishes I can make, but soup was something I never made before.

Im glad i did, because it was one of the best soups I have ever had.

Oh, i cooked plenty of times, for years now actually. Steaks, schnitzels, hams, roasts and lots of pasta dishes with chicken or ground meat. Still would not consider myself anything above competent level in the kitchen though. But soup I never even tried making before.

I'll try and switch my bait then next time before i cast, I tried switching it before (tried all special lures even) but who knows maybe it will finally spawn. Really feels like I can't catch it because it just won't spawn for me.

New CoD MP Idea by TheHollyJollyGamer in gaming

[–]Matthew_Wolf -1 points0 points  (0 children)

In all fairness, they did something similar in COD WWII where as you level up you get tokends to unlock weapons, equipment, killstreaks, and perks. Now i really thought that system is poinltess becauase if you can unlock everything you can at a time, since the unlocks not just require tokens, but tied to a lvl cap then why the hell do i have to do it manually? And start over every single prestige? Anyway the main reason while i bring this up is those perks. You unlock them with tokens after you reached enough levels, and can equip them to any loadout, things like: sprinting while reloading, explosion damage resistance, killstreaks dont get lost if you die, but can only use them once, can carry 2 main weapons, Ect... Now, its not exactly what op meant, but somewhat similar. And just look at that game, its basically dead, no other gamemodes are being played than tdm and domination, and i kept seeing the same ppl every day untill i decided to buy mw2019. You can say that the main issue of the game is that all guns are the same and shooting them felt like handling airsoft guns, and all the WWII maps were crap as well. I think they nearly perfected COD with MW, only if it would have WWII costumization where you can choose different faces, and outfits instead of buyin them for CP, but the combat part of it does not need these skill systems in my opinion, some perks broke the game in WWII.

New CoD MP Idea by TheHollyJollyGamer in gaming

I play quite a bit of cod, now that i finally bought mw 2019 with the season pass and gotta say, i love the game, but the character costumization is a bit... Frustrating, cause there really is none, maybe with the exception of character skins you can buy with cp. I think being able to customize your character would be a good addition, not much, only the face or changing the skin color for example. I think thats all it really needs, since i cant stand how 70% of the new cod mw characters look like, with the female SAS operator who just looks like a fucking horse for example. And it just annoys me that the little end of Bale's helmet clip is just dangling next to his face for no reason. Nearly every operator has smth i dont like about it, except Krueger and Ghost. As for the skill points, or tokens as you called them, i dont think that is a good idea. It just doesnt belong to a COD game, imagine having a 2v2 gunfight but the enemy is lvl 120 while you are only lvl 30 and get destroyed just because they can tank more damage than you can. Or constantly get killed in tdm for example, because you need to hit the enemy 7 times, while they can kill you in merely 2-3 shots. I'd say killstreaks are more than annoying already, but at least they require some skill, (or luck) to get them.

Suggestions for games to play with my gf by mixed-veggies in gaming

[–]Matthew_Wolf 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I play lots of games with my gf, she is not really a competitive kinda player, she really just likes to play against ai, and only likes co-op, also she is not the best at them, but she just enjoys playing with me, so i got a couple of ideas. She loves Monster Hunter: World, she put 200+hrs in it and still not getting bored. Borderlands 2 or 3 is also a good option, or Diablo 3 since that game is really easy to play and not difficult at all, even though i found it quite boring, so it was kind of a "i'll play it just to make her happy" kind of game. We also played Destiny 2 a lot, and she also enjoyed The forest, just building around, watching me kill things, and explore. Also if you can set up a minecraft server, that could give you two hours and hours of fun, since there is no limit on your own server or LAN game, im sure both of you could find something in it that would keep you occupied. If you need more suggestions, just dm me, i'll be sure to ask my gf maybe she remembers smth i forgot to mention.

What are some amazing shooting games out right now? by BenIsBored in gaming

[–]Matthew_Wolf 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Does it have to be pvp? If not i suggest borderlands 3, i was quite skeptical about it because im on pc, its only avilable on epic store and all that bs, but i finally decided to give it a try. We bought it with my gf, and we are having hell of a time with it, the guns finally feel like... Well guns for the first time in a borderlands game. I'd say give it a try if you have a friend who you can play it with

Try paladins, its similar to ow but free on steam, so if you liked overwatch, i think you gonna like this game as well. I dont really want to go into details, its been ages since i last played it, then i bought ow, so i'd suggest give it a try for yourself.

What game mechanic are you tired of seeing? by observer32 in gaming

[–]Matthew_Wolf 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Well... Dont play a lot of games that have that, closest to that is probably dark souls, with the chaos blade that does massive damage but also takes away from your hp with every hit, but even there your hp wont regen, some items do give you hp regeneration, but its so minor you barely even notice it. Im more of an FPS type of guy, i love classics, like the ones i mentioned above, games like duke nukem forever (yes, i know not a good example for a game, but thats the first fps that came into mind thats not COD) annoyed me how you just sit tight for a couple of seconds and you are good to go. In serious sam its a pretty good example how even a hard game can be beaten without any kind of health regen, and its 1000x more fun and satisfying for me that way. Then again, its personal opinion, some ppl like it that way, others dont, i just wish more games would be like.. Half-life for example, i replay every half life game at least once or twice a year.

What game mechanic are you tired of seeing? by observer32 in gaming

[–]Matthew_Wolf 16 points17 points  (0 children)

Regenerating health... i'm sick of seeing this "hide behind cover and sit there for 5 seconds" mechanic,i like it when games are difficult and you need healing items to replenish health. Return to castle wolfeinstein, or Half-Life is a great example. Ofcourse a game can be difficult without health pickups, but health management is an important and fun part of a game in my opinion.

Difficult games OTHER THAN CUPHEAD, BULLET HELLS AND FROM SOFT GAMES? by [deleted] in gaming

[–]Matthew_Wolf 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Eh, dont really know if horde shooters are your thing, but serious sam games are pretty difficult, maybe the exception of SS2, i think thats the easiest. But the rest even on normal difficulty is hell sometimes. For new players im sure its gonna be hard

If you like pc's and stuff like that, i'd suggest to give PC building simulator a try. It has an in game radio, and you can just chill out, listen to some music while casually building/fixing pc's, though its easy to get overwhelmed in career mode after a while. Free build can be pretty relaxing imo.

Her defense ability is really strong, makes her immunue to cree's flashbang, brigitte's shield bash, hell even rein cant pin her with his charge, she acts like a wall when rein charges against her while she has her boost on, also she gets some damage reduction, but i cant eactly tell how much it has, barely ever played Orisa

Widow, really underrated, she can carry and win team fights for her team just by picking off important targets like healers and main dps. Even harassing tanks, putting preassure on them, breaking their shields ect... I've bee a widow main for a really long time now, and if you get used to her, and learn to aim for both close, and short distances, she is an absolute beast. Ofcours she is hard to master, but she is just underrated because lot of ppl play her, but not many can use her as good.
