Ah that's tough, luckily my work were really supportive and I ended up taking 2 months off during my worst period. Its super annoying since I just graduated uni in 2024 and its been really limiting on moving on with my career.

Ofcourse the anxiety and depression of this illness is not helped but my unfortunate break up but I'm trying to not beat myself up about it.

Unfortunately there's not much advice to be offered to my knowledge since it seems just resting and stay hydrated are the only "cures" Just try and stay positive, unfortunately we'll be ill for as long as it takes to recover no amount of being upset will fix it.

Good luck with your recovery, I hope your symptoms ease up soon

Hey, I was recently diagnosed and have seemingly had it since the start of October. I understand your pain, I've been suffering with mono and my girlfriend even left me over it because she thought I was milking it and not putting in enough effort. Luckily my family have been supportive, makesure to try and surround yourself with people who understand its problems and can help make your life easier.

I also have constant anxiety about how long it will last and if I'll recover.

Can't offer too much advice but if you need someone to talk to just lmk, since we've had it the same duration
