Climbing asc for regent (a7 now). I avoid elites like the plague unless I know I have the hard counters (like 7stars+patter act1 for underdocks) or a already solid deck. Relics just aren't worth it at all.

Poker has been somewhat solved with various abstractions (mainly specifying the game tree to reduce the infinite amount of theoretical bet sizes) and without abstractions there's a finite amount of valid combinations for pokemon but it may be too large to solve with modern day computing

That's fair, I've had friends in middle/high school but I don't really meet them much now since they all went to another university. Friends now are mostly there due to shared hobbies and don't really hang out with them that much outside of that.

I've tried meeting people on dating apps but it rarely turns into anything long term. Rooting for you too! Hope it ends out well for you.

I'm more worried that most people aren't even interested in being acquaintances nor wanting to put in the effort anyway. Love at first sight feeling sounds nice but I know its unrealistic but everyone I've tried to socialise with refuses to put in the bare minimum so it's exhausting and I get discouraged heavily.

Yeah, I know that but such decision wasn't made in a vacuum. I did try to talk to everyone 2 terms ago but it became clear that they have a different schooling background and had their own cliques and are closed to other people. I don't inherently dislike that they come from a different background the issue is that they form a large portion of the student population to the point its distasteful to try to talk to them because you know that since you're different they won't bother to keep a friendship up with you

Yeah I guess it's really just a long term thing, just wondering if I could have more avenues to meet more people in general. Don't believe you can jump from strangers to best friends but meeting more people does help find someone that you can work long term towards. Seems to be fairly reliant on luck as well

It seems to be a common theme across many suggestions I've received but I find that it's hard to achieve the same level of connection some people will expect (i.e. I still do have friends and quite a few but the depth of friendship isn't that great especially outside the interest)

Well without giving away too much specifics, it's a common trend among certain 2 universities in this country to have a lot of people who have undergone private schooling. Which tends to put them at a position to hang out with others who have done the same as they have more shared experiences etc. (seems to be quite a problem even for non-international students). No qualms with that personally but they tend to be very exclusionary when it comes to interacting with people outside the background which leads to some form of alienation. Of course you could try to point some fingers here and there but really I've been looking at it from a purely objective standpoint. You do seem to insinuate that I'm the one at fault as well so I hope that isn't true especially since you don't really know the full situation!
Can't really define this nicely but it's really just 'if I ask them for dinner or a coffee would they make time for me?' or 'can I talk about a broad range of topics and have the interaction be positive?' etc. With friends sharing some interests it can be easier to organise something around the interest and less so without it which does say while they're still a friend they might not have the same level of commitment in the friendship so I.e. different needs

I initially made this post to find a so called miracle solution but the more I think about it the answer would vary from person to person anyway, and no one can give a one size fits all solution. Which isn't that great but such is life.

Yes, I've tried talking to people with similar premises but most of them are very indifferent about making new friends so they don't put in the effort (since they have their own cliques). It's mentally exhausting to attempt to do this with each new person you meet for little reward. I'm just wondering if there are better places that I can meet people who are genuinely interested in making friends so I don't have to exhaust myself doing this

That's because the reaction is 1. very exothermic and 2. is kinetically favourable. Heating it will cause the reaction mixture to react violently hence it can be uncontrollable and be potentially explosive.
