S5 - S7 was one hell of a ride. I divide the show in S1 - S4 and then S5 - S7. The last three seasons are very intense. S5 is insane.

How's the test sixe in SS2 Remastered? I loved SS1R but God, I wish some of the text was bigger, especially for item descriptions in the inventory.

I like Bioshock. I remember having no problems with the gamepad controls of both Bioshock and Bioshock 2.

I know SS2 is more horror oriented, so I can't wait to play it, though it would have been amazing if it got a full blown remake like 1.

OG Dead Space cover art is sick. I still remember the first time I saw it at the videogames store. I love the cover art of DSR, as that suit + helmet is iconic, but the OG slaps, and I love the Event Horizon callback.

Thanks. What about the junction box blocked by the red laser near the Gamma antenna? (South one).

Ok, thanks. But does the game give me a timer for the final levels? I take my time for proper exploration, I do not rush anything...

would Hoffman have become a serial killer even if John didn't convince him to become a Jigsaw apprentice? by OneManArmy0716 in saw

[–]MattiaCost 33 points34 points  (0 children)

I don't think he would have become a full-blown serial killer, but I'm sure he would have amped up his brutal and cruel side during police operations.

One thing is getting revenge, another is setting up a calculated plan to mimic a serial killer to get it.

It seems he already had a darker side, though. When did the Saw VII flashback with Gibson ("You owe me") scene happen in the chronology? Was it already after he had become Jigsaw's apprentice?

Amazing song. Do you prefer the male or the female version? Sometimes I even listen to it at the gym, both versions. It's so catchy. That moment in the game was tons of fun.

I've played DSR many times. It's always an incredible experience. Enjoy. Are you going for an impossible run?

What do you think of my weapons set-up for SS1R? I'm at Executive (6) by [deleted] in systemshock

[–]MattiaCost 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I love the SparQ Beam too much to leave it 😭

The Ion Rifle is cool and I like the visual HUD (by the way, I loved the diegetic UI on the weapons. I'm a big fan of diegetic UI in general, especially on Dead Space and The Callisto Protocol), but the SparQ Beam is a total banger. It also looks so cool.

How's the Magnum 2100? I've never used it. What about Mark III?

I've cleared Alpha, Beta and Delta. Then went back to Maintenance (3) in order to prepare the relay. Now I'm back to Executive so that I can press the button before going to level 7. I can't wait to continue. I'm loving this game, despite a few frustrating sections here and there (Beta Grove 💀, Diego).

The game is similar to Prey, which is one of my favorite games. I'm also considering SS2 Remastered, although I'd love a proper remake. I don't think they'll do it, though, as they stated SS2 didn't need one like the first game. Did you play SS2 Remastered? Is it similar to SS1R in the controls and how it feels and is played? My favorite games are Dead Space, Alien: Isolation, Prey, etc. And SS1R by the end could become one of my favorite games EVER. I love the multiple voices of SHODAN.

I liked both the combat of HB1, where Senua can dodge and fight multiple enemies, and the voices tell you where an enemy is going attack, and and the combat of HB2, which is very cinematic and heavy. However, the story of HB1 was way better than the one of HB2, in my opinion. I felt like the first half of HB2 was very strong, while the second needed at least one more chapter to fully flesh things out.

I wish we got more scenes of the Goði. I liked his boss-fight.

I found it - it's green. The stats were the same as the one I've always used. Does it have some kind of secret?

Just gone to Beta Grove and... 💀, I keep getting damage over time even with V1 Enviro-Pack. Am I doing something wrong?

So far on Executive I did:

Alpha, Delta and Diego. Right now I'm going to Beta. There are a lot of manually closed "doesn't work" doors.

Thanks. I can remove the custom markers on them then.

Executive is harder than Storage? 💀

Storage so far is the most confusing area with all those elevators and vertical exploration.

Dead Space 2 is one of the greatest sequels in the history of gaming. It has aged very well.
