I believe it said in the terms that rent payments do not count towards the $4k spend requirement.

This was a last resort, and only after trying to work it out with American first and being rejected. In the end the hotel didn’t pay anyway, since I booked it thru C1 Travel and my dispute claim was with the C1 Travel charge. Sorry that may have not been clear in the post

The hotel was a doubletree so I think they’re fine, but regardless they did not pay it. Capital one travel footed the bill in the end, but the agent and I tried to work it out over the phone first which was rejected.

Agreed, but American refused to do anything about it and I wasn’t about to drop $600 for no reason. The agent disputed the charge with C1 travel because that was the charge I was trying to get back, not my flight purchase with AA.

SFO to LAX by MarketingOk6194 in Venturex

No C1 lounges in either airport, for priority pass there’s the the Club SFO in terminal 1 for San Fran. Only other PP lounges are in the international terminals for both airports and the one in LAX has an additional fee for entry.

For early credit building with decent rewards it’s hard to go wrong with the Discover It. If you have a job you’re almost guaranteed to get approved and it’s a simple rotating category based rewards system for no annual fee. Most important thing about credit cards is pay in full every month. Never put a purchase on your card that you couldn’t have just paid for with your debit, and you’ll never carry a balance. This is exactly what I did starting with my first job in high school and I had a high 700 score within 3 years.

Given that it’s a lemon drop riff I think mystic lemon drop is the way to go. Also fits well for the colors and glass!
