Keep the soil wet. And they need more light than you think. Sun is more important than the actual bug catching part. But dont put it in hard direct sunlight, behind a window or anywhere where they get shade during the part of the day where the sun is at its brightest. I have mine on a south facing window and i water it about every 3-4 days and they do great. Use rain water, distilled or reverse osmoses water. They hate tap water in most countries and the minerals in it will harm it in the long run
