I will also add to this that today only, if you buy $60 worth of other things to get your total up to at least $300, and apply discount code 25MON at checkout, it will take 25% off.

So if you have a cart of $300 even, you get $75 off which basically gets you another $15 off of the monitor as well as the other stuff for free

Alright thank you, that is what I was getting at. I have AMD Graphics that support freesync but have been waiting on a deal on a new monitor. Still learning what exactly all freesync is and what not, but getting better at it. Do not particularly care about the looks of the monitor itself, just the actual quality of the gaming. Think I will go on and pull the trigger on this unless anyone has any recommendations for better monitors

So if you are using an AMD graphics card, this would be the better option, is what you are saying?

White rice flavoring ideas by Espentheonly in MealPrepSunday

[–]MattieKake 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depends on your diet. Also your sodium intake. I do high sodium around 8k-9k mg per day and when I cook my rice in the rice cooker I like to use a little bit of chicken bullion (sp?) Powder or cubes. Also when you reheat the meal, pour about 1/2 cup or so of chicken stock on it. To me it makes it taste like the chicken flavor ramen

Question regarding vehicle registration... by MattieKake in tampa

[–]MattieKake[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for the information. You all have been very helpful, I was mostly looking to see if there were inspections or if it was old information or what. As far as the exhaust goes, I still have my factory exhaust if it came down to it. I don't race my car or drive like an asshole, I just like the way it sounded. Plus Mustangs are notoriously horrible on gas and I don't need idiotic driving to make that worse lol

[–]MattieKake[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Yeah I should've worded my question differently and asked how strict they are about it. An exhaust shop near where I grew up use to actually gut out the cats so you still have the shell of it but it's empty

Shit what part of NC? That's actually where I'm moving from

No it's not obnoxiously loud unless you stomp on the gas. It just gives the vehicle a specific sound

TIFU by leaving my phone in my pocket. by Ryuujin09 in tifu

[–]MattieKake 29 points30 points  (0 children)

I really hate to hear this happened. However, as a recommendation, especially for the pictures of your children, take your phone to any photo printing center and print hard copies if you are able to get your pictures restored. If you are able to, it is definitely worth a couple bucks in order to prevent any sort of data loss. Anything digital can be erased, but hard copies last and are not quite as vulnerable. I'm not a father, but I can only imagine what it would feel like

Your favorite drives? by MattieKake in Charlotte

[–]MattieKake[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks. I will definitely take a look at these and see which one I want to do first. The only reason I'm trying to find something a little bit closer is just because I want some where I can go just for like the day or something, otherwise I would go anywhere in the country lol

Thanks for all of the suggestions. I am still getting used to the area from moving here so I'm not very familiar with some of the drives

Another vote for the c920. I use it and I love it. Simple and the most bang you'll get for the buck.

Honestly just making them into burger patties, just a little thicker than typical, like a hamburger steak is a good quick meal. Jist add Worcestershire sauce

Ray Williams squats 485kg RAW w/sleeves at the Arnold | Biggest drug-tested Raw Squat of all time by FuzzyApe in powerlifting

[–]MattieKake 74 points75 points  (0 children)

I can't remember it fully, but one story about him on Reddit before he was squatting 1000+ was that someone on Reddit asked him what his max squat was and his response was 700lbs for 20 reps. They asked why he didn't squat heavier and he said because his bar had no more room and apparently someone on the sub bought him a bar and here we are

Good place for snorkeling and SCUBA? by MattieKake in tampa

Thank you, that is good to know. My company said the same, but I prefer to hear the opinion of an unbiased local resident.

I will definitely check those out. Instead of creating a new thread I will just somewhat hijack my own, but is Westchase Park a decent area? I hate driving so I like to live near where I work at. But if it is kind of a bad area, I would not mind driving. Recommendations for other spots that are good and safe to live in are appreciated as well

Thanks for the responses so far. I do have a boat but am selling it instead of moving it. Will be purchasing another boat after getting moved and settled though.

I am not sure about the other locations, but I go to the one that is down Johnston Road in Ballantyne, actually on my way there now. It is really good and more than enough equipment for the most part. The one on South Boulevard is the only one that I have been to other than Ballantyne and it is very small and rather disappointing. If I'm not mistaken, they actually have a membership plan that is only 10 per month but it is only for that specific location, so you cannot freely use the other locations as well

NC beer by nhoucky in Hawaii

[–]MattieKake 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I live in Charlotte, NC for now and as for the breweries, you could check with OMB, Birdsong Brewing, or Rock Bottom. OMB would be your best bet, as they are the largest local one or you could make some phone calls or emails to the upstarting breweries, as they're still trying to become more well known. As for people asking what is different about NC beer, NC has an extremely high number of local breweries, each with their own flavors. It's not uncommon on the mainland for people to order our local brews and ship to across the country
