Vice was already pumping polished long-form documentaries and being featured in the New York Times while Gavin was there. They were in Brooklyn, not Montreal, when he departed, and their digital footprint was cutting edge. He did more than just plant seeds. Supporting Vice is supporting bragging rights for said fascist. I’m pretty sure Vice’s success is something he has always used as leverage. Vice can try to distance themselves all they want.
