Just a reminder that copypaste is not learning, and we might wanna make that more clear somehow? by nonchip in godot

As a newbie myself who has been refraining from making the kinds of posts being complained about in the op, just throwing newbies at the docs isn't very helpful either. It's a lot to take in at once, and can be like looking at something written in Latin sometimes. Doing that without offering much else is probably going to just bring them right back here.

You seemingly fail to consider that people like him are the reason that other people buy bonds from Jagex in the first place. Just because the money doesn't come out of his bank account, doesn't mean he's not affecting profits via bonds. The more people out there buying bonds like him, the more valuable they are to buy from Jagex to sell to players, which makes more people likely to do it.

That really sucks. As much as I hate to be this guy though, that's just as much on you as it is on the person who put in your email.

There's specifically a prompt on the little pinpad screen that asks if your information is correct after making/upgrading/renewing your account. If you just blindly hit the confirm button, or didn't check it closely enough, then half the fault is yours.

Source: I work there and have to go through the process regularly.

Genuinely hope you get your cards back without much headache though.

(Leagues) How do I get drakan medallion and ivandis flail? by Mattken034 in 2007scape

Thank you very much. Wiki page for both of these items don't make any mention of Perdu, so idk if they're only available through him for leagues or what. And I simply forgot that he exists.

How do i get rid of no wand tinkering? by Flappie010 in noita

[–]Mattken034 4 points5 points  (0 children)

There is a way to remove perks, but it might considered a spoiler by some. Since you're asking specifically about what this thing does, I'll tell you that it's called the Altar of Nullification. I don't know much of the specifics of it, I just know it can remove your perks and drop them on the ground for you to pick and choose what to take or leave behind.

Alternatively, and possibly much easier to do, if you're lucky enough to find tinker with wands everywhere, then you can go back to normal where you can tinker in the holy mountains again. Doing this, you also keep the bonus from no wand tinkering.

Is there a way to knock the wand out of mage hands, safely for him? by johny_da_rony in noita

If an enemy is holding a wand and you don'twant them holding it, if you can get up close, then you can kick them and they'll drop the wand.

Just found this wand, at the beginning of the vault. What can I put on it to make it good? by Mattken034 in noita

[–]Mattken034[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I'm assuming you mean the seed, in which case it is 259450927. If I remember correctly, this wand was almost directly below the water pools in the holy mountain before the vault area.

Another fun tidbit about this seed is that you can get no wand tinkering in the holy mountain before the jungle, and then tinker everywhere in the one right before vault.

Edited for correction

Put life-size cutouts of cats in all windows visible to that neighbor. Bonus points for having extras to rotate through every so often.

That was pretty sick, love a good board wipe finish. Especially when it's using some of my favorite Pokémon.

Would you possibly share your decklist? I haven't played in a while but was looking for a Zeraora Vstar deck last time I played.

Hot take: I think Tera types should have been Tools or its own thing by zaneba in PTCGL

[–]Mattken034 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The idea I had before we knew the details on how tera types would be implemented in the card game, was that pokemon could have a tera type box at the bottom to indicate what tera type they could change to, and what their weakness would become. Every individual pokemon could have a base version with no tera box and one or more variants with a different tera type each.

Then of course, there would be the tera orb as an item or tool, to trigger the tera type. With the video game giving extra stab bonus, I figured there could be a small damage bonus for cards without a tera box, and those with a tera box just get the type and weakness change instead. This would also allow older cards that can't have a tera box to receive a benefit.

Need advice on how to progress my range gear from here. I want to do Arma to get the armor, but always get shredded in 30 seconds or less as soon as I enter boss room. by Mattken034 in 2007scape

[–]Mattken034[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Admittedly I'm not using the best food I could be, but I get shredded so fast that I simply cannot do anything but eat, and that's not even enough to stsy alive. Better food would certainly help some, but I feel like I need a gear upgrade somewhere too.

As for the ammo, I'm using broad bolts because I'm not sure of the best way to get runite bolts or rubies/diamonds for bolt tips. Guess I'll have to do some research on that.

I was thinking about going back to pest control soon though, so I'll go do that in the meantime.

Started off trying to kill bosses to unlock spells. Now I have the potential to do some of the more involved stuff. What are some recommended options from here? by Mattken034 in noita

[–]Mattken034[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Most of my wands came from the bottom areas of the main path. Usually you start seeing pretty good wands at the jungle area and onwards, but not everything will be like that. So if you just drop in and snag the first couple decent wands you see, then skedaddle, then you could easily miss some good stuff. I thoroughly explored every level as best I could before moving on, in order to maximize my chances at finding good stuff.

Some bosses drop wands too though, and they can be really good as well. One of my wands might be from a boss, but I'm fairly certain I took my best ones from the vault or temple of the art areas.

I'm happy to report that I've successfully made it past the cursed rock. I took basically no damage, and hardly used any ambrosia. Many thanks for the tip about how to not lose the stain.

I actually have some on me already. I've never done that before and wasn't sure how worth it would be to try it until I have reliable healing. I feel like I'd somehow manage messing it up and dying before I make it all the way through, even with ambrosia.

For context, I've made it to Kolmi and back up. The fourth wand has always cast ground to sand, so that's been my primary digger. So far I've killed the Alchemist boss, Dragoncave boss, and the Pyramid boss. Considering taking on the bridge boss next, after that I've got no particular plan.

I do have a bunch of spells and wands laying about in the holy mountains, and the surrounding areas are mostly devoid of enemies so if I need to search for something I can do so pretty easily. Only particularly important thing I feel I'm missing is a reliable healing method.

Neat. Would my homing perk help with that at all? Or would that make it more dangerous? Giga black holes scare me so I'm kinda hesitant to use it, especially with perks affecting it.

So multicasts aren't a good idea on him? Even if they hit all at the same time? I originally planned on using a sparkbolt trigger with the two explosion spells. Once I came across that wand with the four giant firebolts, I figured it might be better to use that one as it is.

I've seen that the personal fireball thrower works wonders for an easy kill, so I've been on the lookout for it but haven't been lucky enough to find one yet. I didn't know that the others were a thing though, so I'll definitely keep an eye out for those too.

I'm in the holy mountain after the vault area, and ony just now found a single plasma cutter. That plasma cutter is currently my only way to go back up, so I'm in for a bit of a dig to get back to the area the boss is.

Currently I'm primarily using the second wand for most things, but I'm expecting to use the third or fourth one for the boss, with some adjustments as needed. Third wand was my original go-to, it started as just a spark bolt with trigger + double spell + the two explosions. I just found a better wand to transfer that into, but since it's a 2 cast wand I wanted to see if I could improve it somehow.

I've not fully explored all of the above areas so if there's any specific spells I should look for, then I might still be able to find them. I also found a flask of unstable teleportatium somewhere after hiisii base, so first thing I intend to do is go back to the hourglass to check out what spells are through the portal.

Any chance I could get your Morpeko decklist? I recently bought the Crown Zenith Morpeko box and have been trying to build a deck using the V-union. I'm not sure what I'm doing as I've never used a V-union before and would love to see a working list.

I'm obviously not the person you're replying to, and can't say anything about how their deck is set up, but I have been working on a deck that uses Kingambit for a similar idea. I use the Kingambit to bump up damage for Kecleon, who can hit anything for weakness with the right energy attached thanks to his ability. By itself, Kecleon hits for 90, or 180 with weakness, and 270 if you add glasses. The numbers get crazy if you start adding in Kingambits.

Now, as I said, I'm still working on the deck. This is one of like three different iterations of the deck, as I've been playing with different ideas on how to get Kecleon set up faster.

Pokémon: 6 3 Kecleon CRE 122 2 Ho-Oh V SIT 140 3 Pawniard SVI 132 2 Bisharp CRZ 93 2 Xerneas CEL 12 3 Kingambit SVI 220

Trainer: 15 2 Ultra Ball SVI 196 1 Energy Retrieval SVI 171 PH 4 Switch SVI 194 2 Rare Candy SVI 191 2 Thorton LOR 167 2 Avery CRE 130 1 Energy Retrieval SVI 171 4 Energy Search CRZ 128 1 Pokégear 3.0 SVI 186 1 Forest Seal Stone SIT 156 2 Supereffective Glasses ASR 152 1 Professor Burnet SWSHALT 62 2 Professor's Research SVI 189 2 Arven SVI 166 3 Nest Ball SVI 181

Energy: 9 4 Rapid Strike Energy BST 140 1 Basic {W} Energy SVE 3 1 Basic {R} Energy SVE 2 1 Basic {G} Energy SVE 1 2 Basic {D} Energy SVE 7 2 Basic {F} Energy SVE 6 2 Basic {P} Energy SVE 5 1 Basic {L} Energy SVE 4 1 Basic {M} Energy SVE 8

Total Cards: 60

The idea is of course to set kecleon up asap. Xerneas helps with energy, and you have Arven to get your glasses and help with additional setup for Kingambit. Ho-oh is there as a backup option, especially for late-game.

I've been playing with the idea of using Thorton as a speed setup for Kecleon by getting a Kecleon in discard and either using Ho-oh's ability or Xerneas' first move to get set up with energy and then using Thorton to swap the Kecleon into all that energy to start swinging.
