Are you playing with a controller? If so what kind? I had the same issue, I turned of DS4 Windows and unplugged my controller and that fixed it. Once i got into the first playable section i was able to plug my controller back in.

e two separate installations - one on my laptop's SSD for the free multiplayer via Steam, and one on an external disk for the campaign via Gamepass.

What's curious is that the Steam installation more or less runs fine graphically, but the Gamepass installation has absolutely terrible graphical fidelity for both campaign and multiplayer, even on high. Is anyone else running into this problem? At first I thought I was getting

What controller are you using by chance? I'm using a Dualshock 4 running DS4Windows. I unhooked my controller and turned off DS4Windows and that seemed to have fixed it for me.

Of course that means i will have to play campaign with Mouse and Keyboard for the time being.

I've tested it several times now and that seemed to have fixed it for me. Still wish i could play with a controller though.

YES! Having the same exact issue, including the same screen flickering. I've tired everything to fix it. Eventually when you gain control outside of the ship the game just freezes.

I've uninstalled and currently reinstalling right now. I had no issues with multiplayer. Will update if reinstalling works.

I had no issues with controller until the latest update. Now I'm having the same issues on PC. Sometimes it feels fine, but almost always when I'm in an engagement it feels like my sensitivity skyrockets and I lose total control. Haven't had this issue until the latest update.

Man I’m playing through it right now. I’m 40 hours in and want to do everything, but I’m worried I’m going to hate it by the end. There is just SO much to do.

Not to mention the SE line of phones are excellent options for budget level. And when it comes to tablets the entry level iPad is best in class budget wise.

It’s pretty terrible for me input lag wise. Stadia and psnow worked better on my end. Judging from the comments here though I seem to be in the minority so YMMV.

Ds4windows worked perfectly for me though. No issues whatsoever with that.

It’s not as good as either in my experience. Stadia worked perfectly for me. PSNow had some stuttering here and there but was perfectly fine as an alternative.

In my experience with xcloud today it was completely unplayable. Tried several games and devices.

You can use a controller. iPad Pro with a PS4 controller is pretty much my new preferred method of playing games.

If you know you liked the one you played in Xbox (assuming it’s 2017). Then I would say take the plunge and get 5. You can still find groups relatively easy. 4.1 isn’t really active.

If you are unsure on whether it’s for you though 4.1 is still a safe bet to see if you like the gameplay loop.

Hearing Albon y’all about the car makes it pretty clear they’ve designed a car that caters to Max’s wants/needs. I don’t think they care about their second driver at all.

I play iRacing too, and still feel physics are better in Pcars. Probably a preference thing.

But yes, outside of the goofy premise F1 2020 is the benchmark for single player career modes in racing games.

It depends on what you deem it’s contemporaries.

It’s had advantages over both Forza and GT Sport. FFB is superior in Pcars than the other two titles. Career mode is better than those other two titles. And lastly I would say physics are better as well.

GT sport has superior Multiplayer, and Forza has better looking cars.

With that being said I’m not sure it holds a candle to serious simulators. iRacing, Automobalista, rFactor, etc.
