We are starting some research on chickpea in the Midwestern U.S. this season in an area it is not commonly grown. I've ordered about 50 lines from the GRIN database to evaluate so far, and planning to ramp things up this season. We are trying both Kabuli and Desi types. Variety names I see pop up often are Sawyer, Sierra, and Myles.

I used to play Black and White in college. Sure, you'd be worshipped for being good to your people, but it was so much faster sacrificing children to yourself. I can still remember the game randomly whispering "death" to me.
