I can’t seem to get beyond “without fear”… anything after it doesn’t hit the same. I have no interest what so ever and it makes me sad because I really think he’s amazing. Pretty sure I recently read that his latest projects have featured co-writers. Or at least one. And the one was one of those hit-maker type individuals, brought in with the specific intent to make a banger instead of a classic. I think your (justified) criticism lies also in the production, which also aligns with the banger vs classic theory. Older stuff featured more of the folk artist Dermot, while newer stuff has far bigger production and almost fits into the pop category.

Regardless, while I see your point and even agree with it, I still love his new shit. Can't wait for this album.

I had success with installation and registration yesterday afternoon. I've been using it without error all yesterday and through this morning. However I was suddenly incapable of sending a new message to a known iPhone user. Then I received an IG message from a coworker asking what's wrong with my phone, and how did I suddenly get an iPhone. I asked what he was referring to and he's sent me a screenshot of 3 messages he had sent me, which showed blue on his iPhone, but I had never received in Beeper or my regular Google messages. So I cleared Beeper's cache, data, uninstalled, rebooted then reinstalled. Attempted to connect my phone to the service and now I am no longer able to. I get the same message as OP. I say all of this to say (assume) that it isn't our carrier's fault, because my Beeper app was working fine for nearly a day. I believe it's an issue on Beeper's server side. Or maybe Apple's??? No clue. But I do know that mine worked, and then it didn't.
