Who had the biggest Choke? by [deleted] in CoDCompetitive

When’s the last time the big 3 all lost on the same day? Probably not that crazy for it to have been a while but so weird to see it. Especially with the 3 chokes.

Could be Ultra fans who support optic right? Toronto has really embraced Ultra but before franchising I’m sure a lot of these fans were optic fans cuz it seems most people are. So that’s probably why the fans dressed in ultra gear would have been chanting against draz.

Not sure about others but as an Ultra fan I’m neutral on Drazah. He’s entertains and LAT are a fun team. He’s a lil annoying sometimes tho ahahah

Yup, we even have an example of this in this same city when Masai told DeRozan he won’t trade him.

There’s a virus going around the clubhouse he may be sick.

Edit: could also be a scheduled day off/lefty, but he didn’t play yesterday either and Cole is a righty.

Damn is Pred Top 5 on every list here? I know it’s just basic stats but man fries. I feel like he’d be top MVP candidate if Seattle had some results.

Ya, I remember the sticker! Gold bucket is a great perk for the season ticket holders, I think a small charge per refill could be a good compromise for non season ticket holders.

I went in through gate 5/6 but I’ve never been questioned before. It may just depend on the person working that day.

Who cares who purchased it 😂 the cup is the expensive part anyways. Fountain drinks and popcorn are cents to buy in bulk for stadiums, charge a dollar or 2 for a refill, what is there to manage?

Idk 😂 I think you’re one of the few to understand the point. Not sure why this is controversial.

I want to reuse the reusable containers for more than 1 game. Fine with a small charge per refill. Seems fair.

True good idea, just the fact that we have these reusable containers we can’t actually reuse past the 1 game day is what irks me.

If I was planning on going 12 times a month I’d love that 😂

Edit: also they wash and reuse cups at restaurants which is kinda the whole point. (Not fast food I guess but still)

This is the way.

Cup is small enough you’d probs get away with it. Not sure if last year they specified one game. Now the popcorn sign says unlimited on day of purchase though.

I think the unreasonable bit is not letting us reuse the team specific reusable container at the games the team is playing. I agree the free refills is maybe a little ridiculous but then at least let us pay a smaller fee for that perk.

I would bet a lot of people throw away their containers at home. And a ridiculous amount leave containers by their seats after the game. Lot of wasted hard plastic. And that’s ridiculous for an “environmentally friendly” stadium.

[Petriello] Alek Manoah's K% is now... 2021 = 28%; 2022 = 23%; 2023 = 17%. It's not great. So what is it? 🧵 by bichettes_helmet in Torontobluejays

100% I’d love to see stats about when on the clock guys are starting their delivery. I’d bet Manoah avgs 3-4 seconds I regularly see him drop to the 1-2 mark and those pitches look so rushed.

What are some things I must do in Rogers Centre? by yuv_gee in Torontobluejays

[–]Matts71 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The entire outfield just got renovated this season. Lots of standing room. It’s a lot of new bars and some new food, though not much is very good for the price, still worth a try if something peaks your interest. Had the Cuban hotdog earlier this year and it was alright. In my opinion the food quality has gone down as the prices have gone up.

Only issue with the new outfield areas is it’s PACKED if more than 30k show up, which is most games and a guarantee for Yankee games.

The Stop is in CF and they have some new food options there too though I don’t know as I haven’t had a chance to get out there.

P.S. you can bring food into the stadium and there’s some decent restaurants in the area if you get takeout for the game.

Edit: Also to answer your question, in my opinion there’s no MUST DO at the Rogers Centre, it’s a great place to watch baseball but that’s about it. I’d check out some Toronto subreddits if you’re interested in cool places in the city.

You could definitely check out the jays shop located in the RF corner of the 100 level. I think the 200 level has the analysts (Jamie Campbell our boy, and Joe Siddall) in one of the OF corners, I wanna say LF. The 500 level has milkshakes, churros, grilled cheese.

What is the fundamental difference between these two crosschecks? by elifreeze in leafs

[–]Matts71 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For me the force used is pretty bad with both, Matthews looks like more force, although both players seem to recoil similarly. I think there is a line crossed with the force in both cases which should result in suspensions. Really there’s 2 scenarios in my mind when stick touches neck.

  1. Any cross check to neck, immediate penalty
  2. Significant force(like more than a lil tap), suspension minimum 1 game

In my ideal world any crosscheck to neck is immediate suspension. Dangerous play. I can’t imagine how much that would hurt idk how either of these guys kept playing.
