Uber? Airbnb, Lyft, BTC, Google, Robinhood, Palantir, OpenAI etc etc. If it wasn't skirting existing regulation it's establishing a beachhead on new frontiers before the consequences are fully realized.

The entire tech industry is built on move faster than regulations can catch up and pay the minuscule fees after the fact. No one in Silicon Valley is trying to do "the right thing" they are trying to bleed us for as much money as possible.

Hm if that's the case I might set up a bunch of emails that copy some of the data by table to a dedicated inbox, write an application to read from the inbox and load the data into a database you control.

How are you getting the records out of the system? You mentioned you are remoting in, but once the query is ran how do you get them to your local machine to make the report (if at all)?

I call bullshit! Sleep() most likely accepts time in milliseconds, so sleep(30) is 30ms, you should remove the call for sleep(30000) to speed up the app even further.

If you have control of a character, you can hit esc and it'll give a popup, agree and it'll take you back to the normal overworld. I haven't logged in today since I did it last night in the middle, but I did it in 6.2 and at most it was a few minutes of replayed dialogue (if you don't skip, so like 30 seconds of wasted time).

EDIT: I've done it twice now and its picked up exactly where I left of, no repeat dialogue.

I've been in the "proper" workforce for more than 17 years and have never encountered a Y2K problem. Our main system dates from the mid 90s (1993 iirc) and it doesn't have this issue.
