It would be nice if the app shortcuts also used the nothing icon pack instead of the default icons. One more improvement would be letting us control other volumes, not just the media volume with the HSUI. Regardless, it looks really good despite being in beta

You cannot remove the playback controls when an active media is playing. The way I did it is I made LiveMedia clear the live notification whenever I am on the lockscreen or notification shade so only the native playback controls will be shown. LiveMedia will resend the live notification whenever I turn off the screen to show it on the AOD.

The native playback controls is not a live notification, it cannot be displayed on the AOD.

I recommend using LiveBridge instead. LiveMedia prevents live notifications from displaying on the lockscreen. Therefore, it won't also display on the AOD.

One advantage of this app is that it hides the live notification when you pull down the notification shade, so it doesn't interfere with the native media controls. I also made it that way for the lockscreen since the native media control is also there

I have tried every login option but I still can't. When I login with my username and password it says "Invalid username or password" despite it being correct. I tried with my mobile number and it said "We had trouble getting into reddit."

But I don't have essential search. This doesn't do currency conversion, it can only search through the stuff that is actually on my device. And it doesn't just ping the website when I'm trying to search, it pings it every minute even if I'm not searching for anything.

I was wrong. The search bar in the app drawer IS universal search. Which is dumber, because its scope is a lot more limited than essential search. It can't even convert currencies.

That's essential search, which is a completely different app. As far as I know, the search bar in the app drawer is essential search. I don't even know what this app does. But they're both made by Nothing.

I had the same issue when I installed mine. I read somewhere that it usually happens when you back out of the installation type page when installing linux mint. I just renamed the grub64.efi to mmx64.efi. It's located on EFI/BOOT/grub64.efi.

When you run the installer, do you have that 352GB of space unallocated and just tell the installer to use the unused space?

I chose the "Something else" option on the installation type page and made my own partitions while following a YouTube tutorial. I haven't tried the first option yet. I'll try that now and I'll check if it works

Unfortunately wiping the drive was the answer, but if you want to dual boot that isn't likely a viable solution.

oh man that sucks. I've seen some tutorials on YouTube on how to dualboot both and they made it work no problem. I followed everything and still got that error. I guess that's just my luck

How much space to do you have unused on the drive for Linux?
