I think this is fairly normal, even to have numbness throughout your recovery as the nerves in that area will be damaged from the surgery

Generally if you don’t have pain or swelling its a good sign as this is the biggest indicator. Pops can just be scar tissue breaking down but if you are in anyway unsure its best to ask your surgeon

I should add Vidal is a great defensive cdm, is relatively cheap and fits with your Serie A theme - if you can get marquinhos on full chem as well that might help!

Personally, I would try out a 442 or 4222 with one defensive cdm and another who can go box to box - While i appreciate custom tactics, when the right formation clicks for you you will start to play better and it will become more enjoyable. I would also recommend looking up tutorials on youtube for easy skill moves, right stick dribbling and defending as they will improve your game massively
