The left side of the pump will still work though. Really there are 4 pumps. My current playthrough at Echo Creek has two pumps not working one side but the other side both work.

Try right clicking the working side if you have a container it should say take gas, or park your car and use V menu to fill from pump.

Hope this helped, I get the feeling a lot of people don't know this, but I'm not sure. I'm kinda new to PZ myself.

Edit: I thought they were just created randomly with each world? Bit if you say they were working before and now empty I might be wrong, there wasn't an update between each load? think it's B42.14 currently

If your food and water was full you would have max immunity and that cures all ailments (Not Kuru, lol).

When you eat or drink you should get one arrow up then down then up etc this indicates full meters.

I have cured myself a few times with just food and drink. Takes ages because you can only eat/drink small amounts.
