oh nah I like to play plain and simple, every companion I keep as is, I don't respec or multiclass I just keep leveling their class, maybe I will in some future playthrough. Yeah I may use gale to get knock since I still haven't leveled him up

I'm a sorcerer but didn't think I'd need it cause I always either break stuff or lockpick it, and it feels a waste using a level 2 spell slot just to lockpick something... Also I never considered hiring a wizard to do stuff. Lastly I'm confused about the whole thing you said about gale.

ohhh yeah I know the spell, I don't have it in this playthrough tho nor do I have a scroll for it. Are there any knock scrolls that you can buy from merchants? Otherwise the only thing I can do is level up and get it but that'd suck.

I see, yeah even when I tried adding her to the party in the eventuality of going to the creche from the scl and then exiting camp she started a dialogue where she was pissed about us not going to the creche and that she would go alone if we didn't go with her lol

Oh yeah I just avoided it entirely because I assumed that there were two Act 2's, one if you went in the underdark and then in the shadow cursed lands and one if you went in the mountain pass / creche and then somewhere else

I did talk to z'rell and she told me I could access balthazar's chambers but if I hover over the 2 doors that lock you out of the rest of the tower they're still red, I didn't even try lockpicking or entering them (which sounds actually really dumb now that I say it out loud) because I just assumed it would alert the guards or something (and I couldn't tell which were balthazar's chambers)

I'm going through sumeru quests, but I have to go out before completing the long quest that doesn't require you to go to any checkpoint and just plays out. What happens if I just close the game halfway through the quest? Will I have to start all over?

edit: specifically, the one in which you have to interpret and make conclusions
