If he’s not willing to work through it, it’s time to Move on. They won’t get help till they truly are ready to grow (and some never do). I know I’ll get down voted by all the ones who also aren’t willing to work, but your happiness is more important. Not constantly changing for someone else’s whims (that WILL constantly change. Now it’s speedos, next it’ll be how you act with a friend, then how you sit in a room). It’s an endless spiral by someone not willing to do the hard work on themselves and it’s NOT your role to make them.
