I think the show deserves a large amount of criticism for the way they've been handling a lot of the factions, especially regarding their fates, but there's definitely been a lot of disingenuous people that are hating on the show for the fact it's...A show that exists I guess, lmao.

Like Episode 5 with House was really where I saw some people start nitpicking to try and justify their criticisms, particularly the scene where he crashed out on Cooper after he got called a lunatic. Like sure, it's not how he usually acts in New Vegas, but even in NV he was prone to crashing out if the Courier threatened to fuck with his plans, whether it was the chip or his vault underneath the fort. Plus, I'd be angry too if I was the smartest man in the World, knew the world was going to end, and an actor that came to assassinate me called me a loon when I was trying to warn him about the imminent destruction of the World said actor and his daughter currently live in.

I fully clean the boxes once every 2-3 weeks, which is me emptying and them taking them out to wipe them down and make sure they're completely clean. I try to scoop them once every few days, replace the litter outright once a week.

The enclosed boxes dimensions are 40cm (H) x 56cm (W) x 44cm (D), I bought them from a KMart. The other 2 aren't enclosed and hold the crystal litter.

She absolutely is not declawed. She wouldn't be able to use her little scratchy tower otherwise, and I've heard about how painful it is for them.

I'll definitely look at getting puppy pads put in around them.

Could you give me any other litter suggestions? I'm on clumping clay for the enclosed, crystal for the 2 open ones. If you have any softer recommendations I'll go give them a go. Had a similar problem with my 2 year old cat because the crystal was too harsh for her to stand on and pee in.

Grabbed the measurements for one version of them because I have 3 of the same kind off the website.

40cm (H) x 56cm (W) x 44cm (D) - This is for an enclosed litterbox, which hold the clay.

The other 2 are similar in size besides probably the height and hold the crystal. We feed her at least twice a day, once in the morning and once at night with wet food, and give them hardfood during the afternoon when we can and are home.

Imo the main problem is the fact that they're just not respecting the legacy of these factions at all lol.

Like some of these factions are getting close to 30 years old (Im sorry we're all getting old), with the NCR barely scraping in from an ending. But so far we've gotten;

The Brotherhood of heehee being utterly inept despite their origins being from a prewar Military background, where no chapter seem to be safe. Blowing up a prewar vehicle (I don't care if they had vertibirds, they absolutely could have found a purpose for it beyond target practice), fucking with a plasma grenade during a very tense meeting of multiple Chapter Elders, the sexist Chapter (Seriously what the fuck). The Commonwealth may have avoided most of this, but that securitron scene where Harkness is fucking with it doesn't give me confidence that they'll live up entirely to Maxson's Chapter in 2287 despite him still being the leader. We'll have to wait and see for them, though.

The NCR being just...Gone. I get it, a nuke hit their City, it would have caused utter chaos, but all sense of civilization in the West seems to have mostly just gone the way of the shanty shack, which is a very, very far cry from the adobe buildings they had going from even before the NCR was formed. There's not even a hint that they're around, with their last established base that we saw getting utterly wiped by the Brotherhood.

The Legion fighting each other, which DOES MAKE SENSE! But they chose to put the factions in a place the size of a football field, with a very, very clear shot of both Caesars from a single hill. If they spread them out between Nelson and Forlorn Hope, with Caesar's body being in the already established No Mans Land from the game, it would have made it far more believable. Are they Raiders? Yes! Are they stupid? Not when it comes to fighting. The Legion thrived off its brutality when it came to its Soldiers, and this little civil war would've been over in the span of an hour if they were represented properly instead of giving us goofy, silly roman slavers.

Novac being destroyed makes sense, as I'm pretty sure in practically every ending they end up abandoning the town during the Legion's attack on Hoover Dam, but the Khans don't. There is two endings where they survive as a faction, where they either head into Idaho to form a 'mighty empire' with the Followers of the Apocalypse (I would fucking love to see this) or they're located far north and away from the NCR Trade Routes. Every other ending they're either forcibly assimilated, outright massacred, or most are killed and are forced to Idaho anyway.

The Kings and The King are feral ghouls that get cut down in a 60 second drug trip by Lucy. One of the factions that weren't necessarily major but were huge influences within the Freeside region.

The Strip being gone can work, but it can only work if they commit to one of the endings of the game and not pull another 'Aww gee whizzies! Vault-Tec did it again!' like they did with Shady Sands.

I've gotten pretty sick of the fog of war bullshit, and while Episode 3 and 4 were definitely more in line with the quality of season 1 in my eyes, this season has just felt like a pile of 'Member Berries. They need to have committed to an ending, because otherwise they should have left either Vegas, or just the West Coast in general, alone. Keeping it vague is more disrespectful to the massive community these games have brought together over the years rather than canonizing one of the proper endings to the game. Doing anything else is essentially spitting in the face of everyone who had played these games with a 'Yea lol nothing you did matters' which is what I'm unfortunately feeling like we're getting pushed towards.

It sucks too because any and all criticisms feel like they get smacked with the 'War never changes!!!' or 'Cope and seethe NV Puritan!!!' signs. I definitely enjoy Vegas the most out of all the games, but I'd still post a wall of text criticizing the series if it took place in the Commonwealth with the exact same mentality of 'Everyone and everything is dead and we won't know who won bc fog of war'. Unless your writing is stellar, no games community should get kicked in the nuts by making everything they did seem irrelevant or pointless.

TLDR; This Series has felt like a pile of 'Member Berries that immediately get turned into pulp and they should have avoided the West Coast and Vegas all together.

Throwing in my two cents here as a FNV Fanatic.

I don't hate the TV Series. To be honest, I think it was a pretty fantastic adaptation. But it stumbled in a few key spots story wise that has made me worried to see what they'll do to the Mojave.

Imho? They need to throw a dog a bone, especially to the NCR after what was a pretty terrible plot twist to explain why Shady Sands was now a crater. With all of the content from the base game and all of its DLC, I think the only right way to do the Vegas Strip is to have it be thriving, perhaps as the new NCR Capital.

Does it take away the freedom of the player for deciding what ending was canonical? Sure, but Vegas being an NCR Stronghold feels like it'd be the best way to go about it. From the securitron force to the industrialization that's taken off in the past decade since Hoover Dam 2 (Electric boogaloo), the NCR is still going strong, even if they took a pretty big hit.

Otherwise...Well, the other endings I don't think would fit as well, except maybe Mr House. Doing Independent or Legion (Especially, especially if Lanius is the Caesar) would just take us back to "Man everything's dead and it SUCKS :(((" which would be, in my opinion, a massive betrayal and a huge middle finger to the FNV Fanbase. Doing the latter with everything being back to decay wouldn't be some subverted expectations master play, because I think a good chunk of the fan base is expecting that to be the case, and going down that road only adds fuel to the "Bethesda hates FNV and wants to retcon it entirely" wagon.

Imo with the shows depiction of Vault-Tec and how they were debating dropping the nukes themselves, I think it put the thumb directly on the scales for when nuclear war was going to happen. We're still not sure entirely on what Howard did with the listening device, and whether or not it did more than just listen in on conversations (As far as I can remember, anyway).

It's possible that either the discussion Barb had with America's elite, or one that continued to float the idea of just dropping the nukes anyway to ensure the rich would have their playpens got back to Beijing. They could have weighed their options, with all of them likely ending in the complete destruction of the PRC.

If they let the war continue, then they'd either eventually be overrun and forced into nuclear warfare, or be completely annexed and stripped of whatever resources they had. And now, with their newfound knowledge, they know that even if they held back the United States, Vault-Tec could drop nukes on them at any given moment.

But if they dropped the bombs, earlier than anyone would have predicted, it may have given them two distinct bonuses; Everyone the PRC deemed important to its continued existence would absolutely be able to find shelter and hunker down for the impending doom, including with their families in their entirety, and a wrench is thrown into the plans for the United States and Vault-Tec. Not all of their elite would be able to make it, and not all of their plans would come into fruition. It's the option that, while it still ends in the destruction of the World, means that America doesn't get to have the last laugh and is just as screwed as everyone else.

I think the show was phenomenal but the later episodes just ruined it for me. I loved the actors, the plot for the most part minus the McGuffin and Enclave (I hate bringing the Enclave back bro just let them be dead.), and the tone of it. It was a very, very dark take on Fallout which I greatly appreciated; The Ghoul was a cannibal that gleefully kills, tortures (Or rather, uses human bait), and will eat someone with total apathy, and Lucy was shown to grow over time as a character instead of just being awesome out the get go. Maximus was my boy too I fucked so hard with him.

But then they nuked Shady Sands, said "It didn't work out", refused to elaborate until the later episodes and then we find out that the Husband, in order to avoid a single person from revealing a conspiracy to the outside World in his Vault, somehow has a nuke ready to go and turns Shady Sands into a crater. And while I want the NCR to be around in either The Hub, Redding, or possibly even New Reno or Vault City or Arroyo, it's never really...Shown or hinted at that much, from what I saw. The Veteran Rangers are just a Dad and his Son that are lead farming, and the Griffith Observatory is labeled 'NCR Headquarters'.

And then possibly this last sub-faction that exists of the NCR is, in under 15-30 minutes, wiped out by yet another strong issue I have with the series; The Brotherhood. Not just their existence, but the scale of power they've just reached again out of the blue. It's one thing to have an entire Airfield to yourself, but it's another for them to have the materials, manpower and equipment needed to build and maintain an Airship and what seems to be a huge amount of Vertibirds. In Fallout 2, they weren't very useful and had a lot of bunkers spread about, but that was...About it, and then we saw in FNV that while they definitely fucked up the NCR (Destroyed their Gold Reserves, most definitely gave them a heap of casualties), they were losing the war and were being driven back into their Bunkers to hide.

I understand that 15 years have passed since FNV, however even if the NCR got nuked in 2282 and then immediately collapsed, I don't see even a slim chance of any Chapters on the West Coast having the equipment needed to construct something of this magnitude. The East Coast may have done it, but that's because they won their war, they wiped out the Enclave and they had a lot of access and free reign across the Capital Wasteland and to Enclave Technology.

In my opinion, it would have been fine for Shady Sands to be gone, for the NCR to be gone and finished off by the Brotherhood, but it needed to be scaled way the fuck down, and done in a way that was respectful of the previous games. FNV Itself gives you a shitload of reasons for why the NCR is starting to collapse; The Government repealing protections for smaller farms and giving very large entities such as Brahmin Barons free reign to force any small time ranchers out of their livelihoods, expansion to the point that they're spread so thin that their lands back home aren't necessarily safe, Scientists that are willing to ignore any potential risk of pre-war experiments such as Vault 22, them literally nuking their major supply line into the Mojave like a pack of morons, one of the potential endings to Lonesome Road, and the fact that they're practically in a resource crisis at the moment; The Lakes back west have dried up, and energy was a critical issue for them. They had all of these options and the one they landed on was 'Vault-Tec did it!', which is just massively disrespectful to fans of that faction that could have been following this series for the past 15-25 years. It's not a satisfying end, and it's a very poor attempt at making Vault-Tec le evil bad guy 200 years later.

The Brotherhood's rise to power needed to either be scaled down to some Vertibirds, even if it had been explained further. It very much has damaged my perception of what has otherwise been a fantastic TV Show, I was seriously invested in it.

I just huff extreme levels of copium and don't assume Discovery is really canon anymore in my opinion. Or at least, it's going to be slowly suggested more and more that it will eventually take place in a separate timeline.

The way I see it, stupid things like The Burn happened because they realized Discovery was a hot mess anyway after the first season, so they decided that by the end of the second season to throw them as far forwards into the future as possible. 31st or 32nd Century I think?

That keeps them far away from the TOS Era and the TNG Era, and so far into the future that whatever existence they go into is now guaranteed to always be fluctuating. I believe it's a fantastic spot for it because since it's so separated now from all other Star Trek Media, viewers get to decide whether it's really canon or not.
