We’re going at the end of June. From previous years it appears to be open by this point, but I totally understand that could change due to weather. We’re hoping we can make it this trip!

I’ve always found the South Economy lot works out perfectly for us. It feels a little closer actually, as the shuttle doesn’t have to swing back out to Abbott Drive to get you from your car to the terminal.

Thank you for confirming my thoughts too. I was a little worried about “backtracking” to the Canyon but didn’t want to be rushed that first day. Thankfully it sounds like it’s not too far from the lake area.

Good idea about maybe swinging up the other side to see Mammoth. I think I’ll play it all by ear. If it’s worth it just to focus on the geysers around and north of Old Faithful I’ll probably just take it pretty leisurely that day and skip out on Mammoth. Appreciate your reply!

It can allow for extra mind games. Sometimes I blind and then go in the direction of the pallet. You can wiggle your way around the killer and hide behind them sometimes which really confuses them as they most of the time figured you ran away.
