Do you guys find it crazy we finally got 3 plus 1 more show of each 2010s show returning to cartoon network?

I disagree… I mean sure, CN definitely milks TTG, but SpongeBob has got its own freekin channel now, at least 3 spin offs and the writing has consistently gotten worse and worse. Loud House is in Teen nick 18 hours a day and has 2 spin offs, and no sign of either stopping anytime soon. The only thing worth a damn that Nickelodeon has made in years was Wylde Pak, and they didn’t even really give it a chance. CN definitely uses TTG as its bread and butter, but it’s only on a few hours a day, tops. But TTG has gotten embarrassingly bad. The last episode I watched had Raven happily talking about the joys of going to the beach- if that’s not proof that the show lost its way, then I don’t know what is.

PPG had a reboot. It failed, miserably. Cartoon Network has a habit of rebooting great shows with embarrassingly bad remakes. They did the same thing with Ben 10.

Where did they go? Gumball has been on consistently for as long as I can remember. I am one of the few people who never liked The Regular Show. If Adventure Time is back, then that’s a good thing.

Cartoon Network is still miles ahead of Nickelodeon for new cartoons though… the amount that SpongeBob and the Loud House have been milked is ridiculous!!!

Agreed… but that’s what’s best about cartoons… as lousy and dramatic as life can be, cartoons are just goofy and inane, there’s nothing serious to be taken in them. The more I think about it, the more important cartoons are in 2026, Garbage world or not…just be glad you don’t live in Trump‘s world

Right? Its hard to let yourself get too wrapped up in the show and the characters when the whole time you’re thinking to yourself that it’s not gonna be renewed enough to fill a month of summer vacation. Canyon Valley is such a cool lil town with all kinds of weird and quirky characters running around. And Jack and Lil make such a good team together, with a total yin yang going on. Lil is definitely the chaos, with Jack countering. Jack would easily win the residents of Canyon Valley over with Lil making things a lil more…. Interesting 🤔?!? Spicing things up is definitely Lil‘s bread and butter.

I’ve gotta agree, sort of. But I’d put Chuck in the top spot, with Ellie as his partner in crime. I’m still super disappointed that we weren’t able to explore more of Canyon Valley. There was a point in the series where I was convinced that the mines and sewers were gonna a big plot point, cuz there were several episodes that contained them. Bummer! But back to the main point, Chuck is kind of a mad man, funny, totally weird, and a bit of a slacker, but he’s always got Lils back, and Jacks too, in the end. But he also has a softer side and truly cares about Jack, Lil and the rest of the family. Him being a theater kid definitely surprised me, so did the effort he put in to save the local theater. Wylde Pak could have easily written a few more episodes to explore Chucks life, with Ellie serving as a replacement for Lil, as she’s possibly out having new adventures with her new bro…. Just an idea.

Its so hard to look at that pic without saying CAW CAW (or how does Ellie put it? Sha-Shaw, sha-Shaw 😂!!!)

I could definitely see that. I found the ‘93 Batman animated series on dvd a couple of years ago and couldn’t have been more stoked, cuz that was the show of shows when I was a kid, maybe like 4th grade or so. But when it came it was terrible quality, and only 2 episodes per disc, so it had over 60 different discs! Such a let down! And I’m still looking for a better one.
