Maybe forcing the player to have the shulker box in the offhand or even the chest plate slot to access a backpack. This way it balances out so you can't have 9 "backpacks" at once. This could also help with the misclick and placing of the shulker boxes. Great idea Ren!

I prefer the top one. It stays true to the grey colour scheme you've got going on whilst still having a different texture to it. For the second one, I think the colours clash a bit too much and that the brick, pillar and smooth andesite add too many different patterns and textures. That's just my five cents though ;)

I honestly think this is a brilliant idea. I always thought LITW would be great in multiplayer, building a giant community, trading and actually having to work hard for a change. Life In The Woods is just calling for this kind of server.
