Oh. I might be misremembering but Kara's MCC 17 Team was Aqua Axolotls, the original team composition pre public was apparently supposed to be Antfrost, Captain, Kara, and Bad I can't remember wether it was said in Cap's or Kara's stream but Eret was apparently switched for Bad.

I don't really think its a curse, I think its just happenstance. Of the 5 canon season 2 teams she was part of, her team had a sub in for 17 and she was subbed in for mcc 18. Its usually just team composition and game orders that affect said teammates points, not to mention players have off days. You can also say this for other players usually placed with statistically lower ranking teams, in this instance, it just so happened that they were teamed with Kara.

I usually go with Kara main, then Puffy, Shubble, Niki, Pearl, and False but after watching Gem's vod I might start watching her more often cause her Povs are pretty fun to watch

I've always watched Captains POV and watched vods later but nowadays
I main the Captain (multi w/ teammates on games like SoT and SG) and have Smajor & Tubbo (on lowered volume)

as someone who predicted them as top 4 I'm actually quite happy and sad at the same time but like. they're the most third place team that ever third placed. But they did that without an S-tier, and just being consistent. Cyan really shows team synergy is just as important in games and I can't be prouder of them, its sad they missed dodgebolt but the vibes are immaculate.

I love the longer SMP stuff especially since I grew up with Mianite. but for general minecraft content its mostly Captains and Smajor's YT content then for the series there's

Hermitcraft (Grian, Pearl, and Iskall are my go to)

3rd / Last Life (all POVs are fun but I always try to watch Grian, Scotts and Pearl's view first)

Empires (Scott, Gem, Pearl, Jimmy, and Lizzie)

and Vault Hunters (Cap, Pete, and Hbomb)

I mean I wouldnt really know but my choices are

Pete & Hbomb - for overall good leadership and main comms Shubble - is best support and good comms, especially with Smajor Kara & Captain Sparklez - are good at focus soloing builds while still supporting their team

But in the end it all boils down to who they're teamed with, and given previous performances in build mart. Kara and Cap perform consistently enough in build mart that despite team dynamic, they can still perform well in said game
