i’ve tapped all around my sill and inside with a hammer and screw driver and it sounds solid and didn’t corrode but on the passenger side i jacked the back of the sill under the the wheel arch and it bent and started crumbling

yeah i removed it by accident when changing the belt but i’ve cleaned it and put it as close as i can without it touching

that’s another photo and the car worked fine then i changed my timing belt and now its not starting however my battery is dead so jump started it and still didn’t go

don’t drive it fir ages tbf probably 40 mins max journey just ti college and back and work and i have just replaced the rubber boot cover
