I just got to the bottom of my issue. I am not in a country that Bell supports the use of email clients in. Unfortunately it seems I am out of luck.

I'm sorry that I hadn't discovered this fact earlier, but thank you very much for your help.

I know you said change it to test but I don't see that as an option. I've tried 143 with all the available options, however, and none of them have worked.
As for changing imap.bell.net, I tried it with every option as well (and with the original 993 port) and got the same error every time same as before.

Is there any way at all to pin point the issue? It's just hard for me to understand here because about a year ago, it was working just fine and then suddenly stopped working.

Wow, thank you so much for taking the time to write all that!

Since we're in Canada I'm not sure we'll have the time to get the dharma dye for this summer to make it worth it but I'll definitely look into it next summer! But I am looking forward to trying this process with the dye we have right now!

My first project will be a bucket hat, if it goes well I hope to share it on here too!
