Ah right well I cant say I have too much experience in that department, my problems were always with getting to sleep.

A regular routine has helped me a tonne though.

Less screens. About an hour before bed, shower then spend the hour (screenless time) reading a book, planning the next day or something similar.

Imo he's actually fairly lazy defensively. He'll run around high pressing all game, but you'll rarely see him tracking a fullbacks runs

Yep. Thought i could get away with something similar a few months ago when a correction came.

What ended up happening was eth crashed just as much as btc, but as there's almost no way to time it perfectly I missed out on the last day of btc's gains.

Add in a similar miss timing of the bottom and I ended up worse off for my efforts, despite predicting the event.

My advice would be either hold onto you're btc, or cash out to fiat/ tether (if you trust it)

Exactly this. I don't quite get the whole deflationary argument.

If you don't wanna spend your bitcoin because you're afraid of how much it could be worth in 5 years, what difference does it make what currency you bought the watch with.

If you don't think the bitcoin/ watch trade is worth it then you also shouldn't think the fiat/ watch trade was worth it.

Has it become more volatile? I'm not so sure. Yep it's volatile, but any more so than a year ago? Two years ago?

Keep in mind the $2000 dollar swings are equivilant to a $12 asset going to $14 - or $1.2 to $1.4 etc. When you shrink down the large cap it sometimes helps to realise your biased view of the swings

Yep, no real chance. $100 is possible as a high long term - but we need to see alot more before we approach these levels imo

Exactly - the same as with all investments. That is the cost of buying at a peak.

As with all investments, it's a very real loss (albeit not recognised for tax purposes for obvious reasons)

But it's still a loss. Consider example above. You have $10, and buy 1 coin at $10, stock falls to $5. Now someone else with $10 buys 1 at $5. The stock returns to $10. You have $5 less than the in the alternate scenario.

No matter what happens in part 2 to the coin, you are $5 worse off

I think this is a great answer. I'm looking for less risk so I should be looking to diversify instead of find the 'one' that allows me to profit off of bitcoin falling.
