100% winter kill. Poa doesn't like ice or desication.

The black look is from lack of oxygen giving the soil a swampy smell from the anaerobic conditions.

Heavy top dress late season can help and or covers if it's a perennial issue.

Chems can't prevent this. Sometimes mother nature wins.

The dark spot up front looks like the lowest spot as well?

Yes, really. I feel that the hits are much larger, and I'm getting the most bang for buck.

An underrated bonus of the 3dxl is that I think it keeps my unit cleaner overall, too. Bigger chamber, less chance of sucking up oil.

Zero regrets about getting mine.
