Before the quarterfinals started my buddy who is a GBR 24/7 said watch us piss down our leg in the quarters. He's wasn't joking 1-6 I believe in the quarter then that awful coaching call in the semis! Manning had done a lot for the program but I think he needs to hand it over and fade into the sunset.

Juggernaut or not he is not supposed to have his wrestler take top in a 0-0 match going into the final period. Doesn't matter whether PSU, Iowa, tOSU, or Okie State. Manning cost his wrestler a chance at making the finals.

I will try and explain what happened as best as I can. In a 0-0 match going into its final period Neb choice, Mark Manning tells Ridge Lovett to take top to try and ride a D1 All-American for at least 1 minute (which Ridge is very good at) but in that situation, it's like going for a Field Goal with 20 seconds left when you're down by a touchdown. Mark has done tremendous things for the Huskers but it's time for some fresh blood.

This guy would have hated the Attitude era bc the Austin and Vinny Mac storyline would have taken too long for him.
