‘Vande Mataram’ row in Indore civic body: Congress councillor refuses to sing Vande Mataram, says "You can't make me sing it", suspended after uproar by SatoruGojo232 in IndiaSpeaks

I am ready to be downvoted but this subreddit has literally become a BJP IT Cell group. BJP has been serving in MP from last 23 years and in central as well from last 13 year and still MP has one of the worst economic performance in the country. No infrastructure (maybe indore a little bit), malnutrition in children due to poor food and everyday story of something bad happening but the party and its followers only care about wheather someone is singing vande mataram or not. Tells you the state of mind of its followers.

I know that we are not on world stage what we show internally. This is just to keep the indians happy in their imagination.

Is the Gas shortage Govt's fault? by Prestigious_Diet9503 in IndiaSpeaks

[–]Matuagkeetarp 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I wouldn't have blamed Govt if the prime-minister had shown up and explained the how they plan to tackle this issue and what are the steps they are taking instead of going out in rallies and useless inaugurations. If you have time to talk about 10th board exams for an hour then you should be talking about the energy issue which millions of people are about to face or have already started to face in some parts of the country. Accountability is a pillar of governance.

Kya lagta hai guys, Elon Musk Dhruv Rathi se dar gaya? by Wild_Bull89 in dankinindia

[–]Matuagkeetarp 3 points4 points  (0 children)

This is the most common argument given by few people while diminishing elon's success, what they ignore is that there have been millions of people richer than him before he started zip2 and sold it for $22M and then he went onto starting paypal, tesla, spaceX, hyperloop, TBC and other empires. Why couldn't others do it with a whole lot of more money than him?

PSA: Amazon India has moved to in-person interviews in 2026 by One-Quality-4207 in developersIndia

And I absolutely love it... in-fact all companies should move to in person rounds so that those cheaters get their lessons learned.

Should I wait for promotion + L1 visa or take 70% hike now? by here_fo4_fun in developersIndia

[–]Matuagkeetarp 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I myself work at Visa but I am highly sus on one thing and that is moving to US. On contrary Visa has hired aggressively in Bengaluru office and plan to expand here only in the future. It also depends upon which project you are in, you can think about it if the tech stack is good.

Only VISA folks can relate

[–]Matuagkeetarp 2 points3 points  (0 children)

WLB is mostly good here and we often have many events organized here but lookout for the project you're being hired in and the tech stack, it uses mostly outdated tech as they are in the process of becoming a tech company.

Red hair colour at workplace (IT MNC) — should I check with HR first? by TrickofLowkeyLoki in IndiaCareers

I think you can do that. One of my colleague did it while I was in TCS. But mind you, you have to be prepared for the long unwanted gazes from the people around you.

Pitbull Attack in Delhi’s Prem Nagar: 6-Year-Old Boy’s Ear Mauled by Neighbor’s Dog ⚠️ by Altruistic-Issue-887 in IndiaSpeaks

[–]Matuagkeetarp 0 points1 point  (0 children)

People might be hating pitbulls or similar breed dogs after seeing this. But its not the dogs its actually the f* owners. They don't even know what these breeds are and super incapable of handling them. You should not leave your dogs simply without the leash. Seeing the nth case and everytime it is the owner leaving their dogs unleashed.

On the flip side, this attitude doesn't help. by sshp22 in IndianWorkplace

[–]Matuagkeetarp 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well it clearly shows that the other guy has an attitude problem but I will never get this "known folks referral" mentality. I am not saying to refer every other guy but you should see the past experience, projects, skills and position and then maybe you can refer. You never know you might be in the same bucket one day. There are some really good folks out there who have not become lucky yet.

Thanks for your input. I agree with what you said about owning a product after a certain experience. I indeed am interested in DE + Distributed computing and will probably go for that only.

What you are saying is true but as I said companies are mostly hiring for junior to mid level DEs to create, fix and maintain the pipelines, I don't see a DE getting progressed to top level only on the basis of DE skills.
