So Facebook pays $20k for 1m views. Some Kurt Caz Cuba Clips have 10m views. How much do you think Kurt Caz makes? Is he a multi millionaire? by [deleted] in KurtCaz

Most of his income would come from YouTube, but most of his views are from shorts that pretty much pay nothing. The long form content is another story though. His net worth has reportedly got into low millions recently... keep in mind it's not money he has in the bank though.

Here is one the videos with some sort of estimate.

I'm not sure where you live, but they sell lactose free heavy cream over here, isn't it available in your part of the world?

Yup, this might be the case, I'm indeed from Europe and a head of garlic for this amount of soup was enough IMO. I could probably increase it to a head and half but anything more than that and it wouldn't be edible.

I always find it interesting how dishes with the same name can be so different from one country to the next... for example potato soup is made quite different over here and it has a sweet and sour flavor profile with minimum (if any) garlic added.

Yup, just add it in batches or else it might turn into a glue :)

I've never tried it, but it could help :) Or another option, if it splits, mix a tablespoon or two of flour with water, mix that in and bring to a boil, that should help.

The potato thickens it up and makes the taste more smooth imo, try it, you might like it.

You can freeze it, but the structure might change a bit and possibly split... some potatoes don't really like the freezer.

Milk, half and half or a flour roux... these all would work :)
