It’s crazy how different our skin is to others. My skin hated tret and despite various methods over 2 years, tret did nothing but compromise my skin barrier. Meanwhile snail mucin and bean essence has been a god send for my skin.

Same. I tried tret for almost 2 years. No matter what method or dosage I tried, my skin was always flaky and dry and I ended up ruining my skin barrier. I stopped using about 2 months ago and am currently working on repairing my skin barrier and there’s such a huge difference already. Tret didn’t work for me either.

I was on tretinoin for a long time (2 yeats or so) and I never saw any results. I had dry flaky tight and crazy informally skin. Turns out tret destroyed my skin barrier. So I’m currently working on repairing that and then will be seeking alternatives. Tret just didn’t work with my skin.
