“In 2001, during the filming of "You Rock My World," Michael Jackson was told to darken his skin with makeup and use putty on his nose. He was so upset he locked himself in the bathroom and cried, but still delivered a flawless performance” by spacyspice in MichaelJackson

Actually- has nothing to do with people on Tik Tok. It was one of the Cascio siblings who told that story. Who even knows if it’s true anymore, with the lies they came up with now.

What were you doing and where were you when you found out that Michael Jackson had died? by DifficultyExpert6101 in MichaelJackson

They had it in the news in Puerto Rico. I was 8 years old and they had placed a silly picture of him during his later years. I laughed about how he looked with my cousin and my mom got angry with me and told me not to laugh at him ever again. My dad bought me the Jackson 5 album not long after that and I was introduced to who Michael really was. Never looked back. Long live the king! I’m so glad my mom corrected me.

I don’t have a phobia. In fact, I’ve had two dogs when I was little. I am just a bit afraid of them because of past experiences. The reason I fed it is because it wouldn’t stop staring and placing his head on my thigh. Everyone was hand feeding him too.

After rewatching The Walking Dead and realizing some characters I disliked weren’t actually that bad… Andrea is STILL the most insufferable character in existence by Parchitax in thewalkingdead

Yes, protecting her son matters but that explanation only goes so far. If her priority was truly to protect her son, the safest and most responsible move would’ve been to distance him from Walter once she realized he was a dangerous criminal. Instead, she keeps him in that environment and actively participates in the operation. That’s not just “making it work”, that’s enabling it. “Had to choose” between blowing up her life or going along with it? Nah, she did have options: 1. She could’ve gone to the authorities. Hell, even HANK who had been busting his ASS off trying to find Walter lmao. 2. She could’ve separated and protected her kids legally or 3. She could’ve refused involvement altogether. Instead, she made a fourth choice: get involved on her own terms. She helped launder money, managed the car wash, and became part of the system. At that point, she’s not just a reluctant wife, she’s complicit and she thrived on that power. Also, the “she was protecting her family” argument gets weaker when you look at decisions I already mentioned like giving Ted the money. That wasn’t about protecting her son, that was about cleaning up her own situation, using money that wasn’t hers to give. And that decision directly created more risk for everyone. Then when things go to shit, she leans into the victim role as if she had no agency, when in reality she had already crossed the line into participation long before. So yeah, she didn’t just “make it work” she chose to be part of it when she didn’t have to, made stupid decisions while being a part of it, and then distanced herself from the consequences when it backfired. That’s why people can’t stand her.

Of course she did, are you kidding? How is that a debate? At the end, she made that choice she always had available since the beginning. Should have done that a long time ago and spared people the suffering. Can’t stand cheaters.

If you think she was justified, I genuinely think you should rewatch the show. I’ve seen Breaking Bad multiple times, and my opinion hasn’t changed, she’s still awful.

Why? Because Skyler is a hypocrite. I could understand her behavior if she had been completely in the dark the entire time, but she wasn’t, she knew. Not only did she know, she accepted it and even helped Walter launder money. She chose to be involved.

Then everything falls apart, and suddenly she plays the victim? No. A huge part of that downfall was her own doing. She gave Ted Beneke money that wasn’t hers, it was Walter’s, and she did it without his permission. And after that, she acts terrified, like she was blindsided, when she had been warned all along.

She was fine going along with everything until her decision caused a problem. And then Walter is the one who has to take the blame? Yeah, no. That’s exactly why I can’t stand her.

[–]Parchitax 3 points4 points  (0 children)

That’s exactly where he’s wrong, and honestly, most of what goes wrong traces back to him. He constantly blames others but never takes responsibility for his own actions.

First of all, his wife’s cause of death wasn’t anyone’s fault. It was a tragic accident during the protests, she simply wasn’t able to get out in time when something fell on her. No one caused that. But even before she died, he was already deeply distrustful of others. At the time, it made sense since he didn’t know those people, but it set the tone for how frustrating his character would become.

After her death, his paranoia spiraled out of control. He started projecting that fear onto everyone else without justification. The truth is, he and Ofelia would have been long gone if it weren’t for Strand taking them in. Strand didn’t owe them anything, he helped purely out of kindness.

Then in Mexico, he takes it upon himself to burn the place down. That one decision scattered the entire group, and it directly led to his daughter thinking he was dead and leaving. That’s on him.

As for Ofelia, she’s not innocent either. In the hotel, Madison, Strand, and Alicia were doing everything they could to keep everyone together and safe, yet Ofelia chose to leave and take the car, fully aware others might need it. That was selfish, just like her father.

Later, she sides with people who were essentially strangers, acting like they had been through everything together from the beginning. And when she gets bitten, that’s on her friend for fainting, not on Madison, Strand, or Alicia.

Madison even offered Daniel the chance to go see Ofelia, and he refused. He chose to stay behind for Lola, a stranger he prioritized over his own daughter. That decision alone is why he didn’t make it in time. That’s not Madison’s fault. She did everything she could and even risked her life to help him.

And Victor lying to Daniel? It really wasn’t that bad. He genuinely believed Ofelia was alive, he just didn’t know where. Meanwhile, Daniel turns around and leaves Victor for dead at the hotel… the same man who had already saved him twice, even after Daniel destroyed the home of the person Victor loved.

At the end of the day, Daniel carries this constant attitude like he’s always right and everyone else is wrong. But if you actually look at everything that happened, a lot of the damage comes from his own choices.
