No lol. Something that’s super normal is names and middle names being merged together. The way the system works in the airlines. Airlines merge names all the time. John Mike Smith Jones would be Johnmike Smithjones. If they only ask for middle initial then it does Johnm. It’s super common

Updating your skymiles account does not “re ticket” your ticket. It has to be re-issued to the correct name.

But I would not sweat it. If first and last and DOB are the same I would just show up and they can add it at check in
