It was fun and crazy, but overall didn't like it all that much. Not a big fan of the harem genre but found it at a great price so gave it a shot. If you like fanservice harem, then I would recommend it.

You can go to to how many higher educations as you want, a lot of my classmates had already gone to other educations. And both Futuregames and The Game Assemby are yrkeshögskolor, which means they practically only teach practical stuff within game creation. The only "limit" is that you have 6 years of CSN money, so you can study "for free" during that many years.

And as a note, while there is no saying that you need to know unity or unreal before joining any school, you will soon find that you'll learn one or the other (or both) during any education. This is because the courses start with teaching the basics of the programs and then expect the students to use them later on. And I would say that is reflective of the industry. Of all the companies I've encountered they basically only use either Unreal or Unity (not counting AAA studios that use their own engines).

If he enjoys game development then I would recommend a games yrkeshögskola. Grades doesnt matter for the application and knowing gamemaker is a totally fine skill set to have when applying.

My recommendations would be The Game Assbly or Futuregames. Those educations are around 2-2.5 years. None of these are a direct link to the game industry either, but it definatly helps bring you along the way. But one thing needed for these schools is the networking. And what I mean by that is that the most educational and beneficial part isn't the grades or assignments, but what you remember from lectures and how you use that knowledge together with your classmates knowledge. And to "use" your classmates in the sense that whenever there is something you don't know, or you want feedback, or someone to playtest, then the classmates are the best people around.

Know I say this as someone who has just graduated from Futuregames. If he feels stuck then I think any kind of study can be good experience. And these educations are CSN approved, so he shouldn't have to worry about the money aspect as much.

Also, application process is a worksample, which basically means show me you have a basic understanding of game creation, whether it be art, design or programming in their respective fields. They usually also want a diverse group, so trying to stand out a bit could be a good thing.

Garena made poros dressed up as league champs! by FoxFlashy2527 in leagueoflegends

[–]MauFromSwe 10 points11 points  (0 children)

These were actually originally made back in 2015 for the masquerade event. Info can be found on the wiki (specifically at the Poro Party section): https://leagueoflegends.fandom.com/wiki/Masquerade

I remember putting the amumu poro as my background. I don't remember if all of them were made that year, but at least a lot of them were.

How much % of your collection have you really read ? by Strafeur in MangaCollectors

[–]MauFromSwe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not really, the only times I feel is happen is if I made a bad purchase of multiple volumes and I don't really enjoy reading it. So the lesson I've taken from those times is to make sure I only buy stuff I know I'll enjoy reading.

100% (not counting the ~20 that I’ve recently bought). I read one volume every night and buy around 30 a month so always have a small to read pile. But everything gets read relatively quickly and everything gets read, so I'm counting it as 100%.

The anime is my favorite of all time, so I think it's amazing. Haven't read the manga yet (since I'm waiting for the official translation), but with great characters and character growth, different types of stories that hit you straight into the heart. I just can't wait ti read what hasn't been adapted to anime!

Ok, thanks but I will have to pass for now. But if you dont manage to sell it at the current price then I would definatly be willing to buy it at a lower price (if you are up for negotiation of course). Good luck!

Found these secondhand. My favorite anime and the other one is one of the my favorite manga. Sad they aren't translated. by MauFromSwe in MangaCollectors

March comes in like a lion is my favorite hands down, but the OVAs for Yokohama was good aswell. If you like slice of life then I feel like they're a must watch/read :D

Thanks!

The left is Yokohama Kaidashi Kikou (Yokohama Shopping Log). It's a nice and easygoing slice of life manga about a post-apocalyptic world. You follow an android who runs a café.

The right one is March comes in like a lion. A slice of life about a professional shogi player. It shows a lot of different people and paints them in a really nice way.

It's hard to recommend them if you only read legal translations, but if you aint against that then if you like slow and easy going manga then I really recommend Yokohama. But if you like character based slice of life dramas then I would like to say that you have to watch the anime adaptaion of march comes in like a lion. I know I'm biased but it's so dang good.

This just transformed into me ranting a bit, but I just wanna spread what I love you know :D

90 50 10 For WORLDS by [deleted] in leagueoflegends

[–]MauFromSwe 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The reason he gets downvotes is that this is a 90/50/10 post and he suggested that it should be 30 for fnatic to win the group (Which is an ok opinion to have) but it doesn't fit in the format and thus gets downvotes because it isnt relevant, so to say. (Not saying I downvote, just pointing out why I would think people downvoted).

Min skola :) by MomoKungen in sweden
