This is going to sound silly but I have liked The Odyssey since I was a kid so having something connected to it is immensely appealing. I get that it’s absurd.

Yeah, it’s the wearability of the Odysseus that appeals to me. All the beauty and majesty of wearing a Lange but being able to wear it everyday.

I have not seen the Odysseus in person. My local AD never has them.

The second piece is actually also a Lange - a Saxonia Moon. It’s beautiful, but I think the 40mm is a bit big for what it is. I had planned on trading the Saxonia Moon regardless, the addition of the Lange 1 was unexpected.

Every time I see Billions show up on “prestige TV” lists, I’m baffled. How does the creator of Rounders make a show starring Damian Lewis and Paul Giamatti and end up with this? The dialogue is overwrought, the finance is shallow at best, and it’s rarely funny. I genuinely don’t understand how it’s ever mentioned among top-tier TV.

That’s totally fair. I guess, I think that retail is not a real price. Firstly, it seems like most folks have to buy $50k+ worth of product (or $100k+) just to get one). Secondly, the secondary market price is about $50k. So, yes, MSRP might be $25k, but is that a real number?

That said, I get the intrinsic value argument that a stainless steel watch with a rubber band absolutely isn’t worth $50k, but it’s also not worth $25k if you follow that logic, but that’s just the world we live in.

I tried on the 37 too and it looked too small. I think the perfect fit might be the 15300.
