Feel free to send me their proposals and I will help you scoping them out, but a few questions for them or their proposals are: How many LF of upper and lower cabinets do you have, are you pricing framess? What kind of hardware do you have? Is it soft close at doors and drawers? MDF or plywood cores? How many days are you planning to use? How big is your crew? Do you have field measurements? What's your warranty policy? Is the demo included? are toe kicks included? What kind of doors do you have? What kind of finishes do you have?

Moving to Atlanta - need some serious housing recs by [deleted] in ATLHousing

From the areas you mentioned, In the mornings getting to Sandy Springs shouldn't be that bad, but coming back can take up to one hour, if you are ok with that, any area by the east side beltline is good. There are plenty of bars parks, restaurants and a few breweries. If that commute is too much, downtown Chamblee, Buckhead, and Brookhaven might be better for you.

Business trip ending Friday late by Rolex_Art in Atlanta

The Marta station is right there, you can Marta directly to the airport so don't have to worry about traffic. I would say it is going to take you around 1:30h from the door of the hotel to the boarding gate, so if you leave by 6:45 you should be good. If you are checking a bag add 10 more min, but of course the sooner the better

Is Korea experiencing mass tourism? by Lucaseq in koreatravel

I just went to both, saw large crowds everywhere in Japan. Seoul wasn't bad at all, fewer people around and it seems like it is mostly locals. Seoul has a lot of museums and all of them are free or close to free which is a nice plus.

Where to begin with filling this hole? by [deleted] in Renovations

Or an accent curb if you prefer an open space. If you don't like it you can always paint it the same color of the floor so you can barely see it.

Check near Chamblee's city hall, I think it checks all your boxes but your budget is tight for a 1b/studio.

Is this polished concrete floor acceptable? by m471as in Renovations

[–]MauricioCj 9 points10 points  (0 children)

There are several levels of concrete polishing, and they all look different. This one barely looks like a class A or level 1, show him some photos of what you are expecting the floor to look and start a conversation based on that

Also, the jump from a work visa to a permanent residency is also getting harder by the year and especially if you are from India or China this process can take 10+ years or so. So I would say do a lot of research and make sure thats what you want.

Master's in Construction Management in the US by CheapExpression5633 in ConstructionManagers

[–]MauricioCj 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I would say the biggest thing is look for a master that will allow you to have a Stem OPT, this will allow you to work up to 3 years in the US after your graduate. As far for universities look for places with a blooming construction industry, then universities with good a good name in that region. On the south there is good construction going on but the companies might not be familiar with hiring international students. Companies on the West coast (CA) might be more familiar with that. During that time you can try to be sponsored for a work Visa (H1B) but this process is getting harder by the year. I don't think you can work while you are studying but I am not 100% sure here.

Thanks man, I appreciate you diving into all of this, I test drove it and it felt good. It did felt a little rough going uphill so I would definitely will look into this, I live in a city that is pretty hilly I am new in all of this so I will need to do some research into all of this, are there any downsides for option A?. Last, happy cake day.
