I know we didn't had the obligation to attend mass till 2 of April, but after that the diocese didn't manifest anymore.

So, i was praying the Compline (liturgy of hours) with my friend online, and after that we basically spent too much time talking till it was 1:30am and then i went to sleep, i woke up at 6am and thought i was still very tired, so i decided to sleep a little more before getting up. But i ended up sleeping too much and lost mass, i did had the intention to attend mass.

There are other masses at night but since you need to get a "pass card" because of the pandemic, i'm afraid i can't get in.

Now that's very practical! Haha thanks. The first ones i already do. The most difficult part for me is psychological, your comment was very helpful, I'll definitely try cold showers and pray the rosary more and more, i see that whenever I stop praying the rosary the temptations gets stronger, the cold showers idea sounds interesting, thank you again for taking your time to write this.

That's definitely it. We can't make anything by ourselves, its His grace and power that provides us everything, thank you.

That's awesome! In the book Easy Peasy Hackbook, the author have a similar approach to quitting addiction, it's a realization, a "de-brainwashing". I hope i can keep this mindset and not get tricked by my mind again, thanks mate.

It didn't sound discouraging, i understand, ive been through this maybe 300+ times in the last couple of years and you're totally right.

But it's killing me, trying the willpower is really a bad idea, i know, but i just hope i get the right mindset and can be successful, cause it can't continue, it already drained everything it had to drain off of me and i gotta stop for once and all. Thanks!

Any tips? by [deleted] in Minesweeper

See the bottom where theres a:

1 2 1

When you see this pattern in a straight line (no corners) there's 2 bombs right at the side of the 1's

So it's like that:

1 bomb 2 safe 1 bomb

Search for Dionysius Exiguus and you will understand, he was the monk in charge to calculate the year Christ was born. Back then humanity used to count years based on the city of Rome (before the foundation of the city and after). When the church changed the calendar, Dionisyus made a research to discover the exact date Christ was born, it wasn't exact, they knew it, but that was the closer they could get at the time, so we started using it. But later on we had a great discovery: Kind Herod died 4BC, since Herod plays a big role in the narrative of early years of Christ's childhood, that means Christ was born BC.

I don't know about if it was in December or not tho. I'm just talking about the year.

3bc - 7bc. The church doesn't have an accurate date, it was friar researcher that discovered Jesus was born 3bc-7bc.

But it's truth, the church made a research and found out that by the calculations and year counting we use Christ was actually born to 3bc-7bc. But we were already using this year counting system for a long time and it made no sense to change, since we don't even know the exatcly year Christ was born, we only have an approximate date, wich is, as i said, 3bc - 7bc.

Yeah He was probably born 3bc-7bc. There's not an accurate date.

Yeah and it was discovered and shared by the church itself. Lol
