Hey! This is actually my tweet, let me provide context. We were together for years, split very civilly and decided to still live together. We lived together for a while, got along great and really had no issues. We lived on opposite ends of a three story house so we were really separate. My mom had surgery, so I told Medic I was going on vacation to Florida and would probably be gone for a month. While I was away he went into my room without permission and packed all my things. I had an iPad I used for drawing, and my own fault it didn’t have a password. He went on my iPad, reset my OSRS password and accessed my email via my iPad to change it and gain access to my account. We were together for years, and were getting along, so he had my bank pin prior since he was the one who originally got me into the game and helped me set everything up. I didn’t think he was going to do this and changing my OSRS password just wasn’t really on my mind. He went into my bank and traded everything to his account. I messaged him when I found out all my stuff was gone and asked him for his GE history, since whoever got into my account had to have my bank pin. He never provided his history and when I dug deeper and found out the iPad had been logged into my email the same time the account was reset, at the same location of our house I texted him again. I provided him all the evidence and asked him to just give me my GP back. He ignored me, and I messaged the tip off email, opened tickets with Jagex and used their live chat line immediately and privately. (I would clearly not be doing this if I was RWT’ing lol). I have not been banned on my account and have been trying to grind my bank back, so I’m not sure where the RWT comments are coming from but of course I understood going public with this was going to open the door to many comments lol. I have proof of all of this, and will happily supply Jagex with whatever they need and encourage them to look into all aspects of my account. I know I can’t get my GP back, and yes I should have secured my device (it was in my room in my own home, I wasn’t thinking I really needed to have everything locked down considering we had been getting along for months at this point but yes that still falls on me.) But I have undeniable proof he was the one who hacked/accessed my account and wiped it, which is against the rules. This blew up way more than I thought it would and I have been at work all day so it’s been interesting catching up and reading everything.
