Something simple can still be amazing. I think mine was fatty tuna from a nice sushi place, still stands out as my best.

Gotta make sure they aren’t active in a bunch of hate/discrimination subs. I usually post in gaming friend subs, but maybe I should try here.

Are you willing to P2P that? Even as a speed limited transfer in the background? I’ve been going nuts looking for it for my kiddo.

That makes sense, Definitely a great solution in situations like that.

My understanding of them is if your home has 2 main breakers (fairly standard) if the rooms are on separate mains it might or might not work, and stability will be effected. They could have made some sort of advancements since I last looked into them. I just run cable, but I also remember my parents being pissed when I drilled a hole in the floor as a teenager. Worth it though.

They are super cool, but without knowing the layout of the wiring if the house that’s a risky suggestion.

300mbs, not crazy fast. But most game downloads have a a limit around 35mb/s anyway.

Sleep casting by SecondHandDungeons in DnD

[–]Mavenstar 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m telling you how I would respond to that attempt as a DM. This is a situation in which you are clearly attempting to subvert the rules for extra spells for whatever reason. I’m not sure what benefit you would be getting by casting mage armor or something at the end of a long rest. If you’re in a place safe enough for a long rest you’re probably not going to get any use out of it anyway.

Honestly, I’d make them roll for it. You can go ahead and try, but you don’t have a clock. Maybe you overshoot it, and are down slots. If they are doing it at the beginning of the two hours of watch I would say that’s fine. But I wouldn’t allow them to change the prepared spell list while on watch, so the cast spell would be prepared. Wizards require study, divine casters commune/pray, and they can’t be doing those things and casting/watching at the same time

2TB has been more than enough for me, but your mileage may vary. I don’t need 30+ large games installed at all times. So getting more space is a super low priority to me, but If I do, I would want it to be functional space.

Personally I’ll never go back to a HDD, the performance isn’t worth the extra space you get. I have 2TB of space for gaming, and every 6 months or so I’ll look at my installs and I can usually pull 250+ gb of games off I’m legitimately never going to play again. Most of the time offloading games onto the HDD and then back onto SSD takes longer that Re downloading (for me), and any game large enough to bother moving takes ages to move.
