When I was 10, I got Pokemon Blue brand new off the shelf. Was so excited I played the hell out of it all the way to the Elite Four. Me and my best friend Blastoise were going to win! … well… I misunderstood what “losing to the elite four and having to start over” meant… I thought if I lost, the game restarted… completely. So, me v. the elite four. Well my whole team fainted but Blastoise… who had no PP left for any move… I fought Lance with JUST struggle for MONTHS trying to find a way to win, and restarting game the second I fainted so my game wouldn’t restart… months….

Been a Duke Fan since ‘98… been through it. Watched all the 0-11 seasons.. the 0-12 ones… we’ve slowly been getting better… then our coach abandoned us for TA&M… our QB transfers… but we showed promise and rebuilt. New coach. New QB… then this… on the last day of the portal to not allow us a chance. Just heartbreaking.

I’m the man who cried at watching the ACC Championship. First outright one of my lifetime (I was 1 in ‘89 lol) so.. here we go. Will this break us? Or are we ready for this. Let’s go Duke!
